GoogleI've used Oliver Burn on two occasions now. The first was selling and buying back in 1999 and we used them again in 2022 to sell our house. Tim and Mark and colleagues couldn't be more professional and helpful. They know the local market inside out. We are so grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone.

GoogleHaving struggled to sell my flat using Purple Bricks (not something I would recommend anyone doing), I came to Oliver Burn and had a good feeling from the start. Tim, Mark and Theresa are endlessly professional, passionate and knowledgable, and made the process quite painless. My experience felt very personal, which is so important when you're engaged in what is ultimately quite an emotional transaction (at least it was for me, selling my home of ten years). They seemed to understand that and were brilliant from the first phone call all the way to exchanging contracts. I would highly recommend.

GoogleI want to say a big thank you to Oliver Burn, and in particular Tim Hudson. As a first time buyer, I was quite daunted by the challenge ahead. Tim was everything I could have hoped for in an estate agent, friendly, professional, patient, quick to respond and experienced. On my first viewing I was able to really take my time and get a great feel for the place. Tim was well informed about the properties features and was honest about it’s pros and cons. As I naturally hesitated in such a huge decision, I felt a second viewing was needed. Tim was quick to accommodate this and it was essential in making the right decision. As negotiations began, Tim was excellent in explaining the purchase process and things I needed to do. He was efficient in contacting the seller and available whenever I needed him. When the day finally arrived to pick up the keys, I met Tim and the team again at their Herne Hill office and they were lovely. I got a genuine sense they were really pleased for me. I am so happy with the decision I made, and I never would have got here if it wasn’t for Tim and Oliver Burn. Thank you again Tim!

GoogleI highly recommend Oliver Burn, I could not have been more happy with their service! When recently selling my flat in Herne Hill I had a competitive budget in mind and a challenging deadline - I wanted a buyer within 2 weeks of the flat going on the market. And Oliver Burn delivered. Tim was fantastic throughout! The flat sale was smooth and we completed within 3 months. The service offered was truly fantastic!

GoogleCompletely agree with GW's review below. Eric (owner of estate agent and multiple flats) is a nightmare landlord. He left a leak coming through our living room ceiling for 10 weeks, and only fixed it after we handed our notice in and viewings were expected. He'll come around unannounced (& not turn up when he has confirmed he would). He treats his subcontractors really badly (challenges every penny they charge for months on end), and the office has gone through such high turnover since Louisa left, you'll have to consistently repeat yourself to different members of staff. Then to frustrate tenants further he will claim such absurd costs upon settling the deposit (inventory that didn't exist in opening inventory and requiring our professional cleaners to reclean or else we face a full cleaning fee).
SA M, we are unaware of any property of the landlords that had a reported leak for 10 weeks, his properties are generally maintained above normal standards and usual sought after when they become available to let. We have been unable to identify you a genuine tenant as you have not provide a name or property address. Please contact our office directly and we will be more than happy to address your concerns. Should we not hear directly from you and as you have maliciously mentioned payments to subcontractors which is information that is not made available to tenants we can only assume this is a non genuine review left by a competitor.

GoogleThank you Oliver Burn for being such great managing agents for the last two years. I have just finished my tenancy and I would just like to extend my gratitude for all the help in the process of moving in as well as dealing with all our maintenance requests so quickly and attentively. They always made sure that our requests were taken care of and always checked in to follow up on anything outstanding. The staff did change quite a lot in the last year, however the new team have been superb since the start of this year with following up anything that required immediate attention. Thank you!

We used the services of Oliver Burn for the sale of our flat recently. Mark Murphy was our main agent and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Very clear and personable, and incredibly responsive throughout. He made the process as smooth as possible, acting as an intermediary between us, our buyer, and both solicitors as needed. Would highly recommend Mark and team for any sale in the area.

GoogleAvoid that company at all cost . Dodgy company. Scammers. They keep your deposit without you being able to rent the property. My friend report you to the fraud action. Give them back their money !!!!

GoogleAgents never call back even after promising so. Managed to get a viewing after constant calls and hanging on the line for 10-15 minutes every time. Agent re-booked viewing multiple times and after getting there at the agreed time, agent was not there. They explained as he was double booked and decided to leave. Absolute nightmare to work with.

GoogleEric the owner is a con man. This company is masked by the lovely women in the office. Eric came and inspected our flat and said the painting we had had done professionally was not up to scratch so he kept £500 of our deposit to have it carried out “properly”, after 2 years not to his knowledge we went back to the flat randomly and the paint work was the same as we had done. Also Eric used to turn up in announced and let himself in, been caught coming out of the shower before. Avoid this company, this is a true genuine review of what you get with Oliver Burn. AVOID.

GoogleI have been renting with Oliver Burn for the last 12 months. Having rented with numerous lettings agencies in London over the last 10 years Oliver Burn are far and above the rest. The only lettings agency I've come away with a positive experience. They always communicated well and tried to sort any issues with our flat as quickly as possible. And to top off they are the first letting agency to be completely fair and reasonable at the check out and not try to extract every penny they can from our deposit. Having had terrible experiences with Black Katz, Ludlow and Thompson to name a few, I'd highly recommend them. Nice to leave London and finally have a positive experience with renting! Thank you

Their advice is sound and their expertise comes from years and years in the industry.
