GoogleWhat a pleasant surprise to find an agent who is reliable, friendly and proactively helpful! Great experience with Katie and all the team, who helped me during my search for a rental property in Thanet. In a sector that I've often found is marked by poor comms and unreliability, Oakwood has been a positive exception and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them wholeheartedly. Thank you all for your help and support, through the stresses of moving

GoogleFrom the moment I met Oakwood (nee Appleton) property manager Diane Solly I knew I was in good hands. Diane, and indeed everyone I've spoken to at Oakwood Homes, has always been helpful and considerate, dealing promptly and efficiently with any issues regarding the property. I've always been happy to recommend Oakwood Homes as letting agents to any friends in the area.

GoogleIn general I'm very impressed with Oakwood Homes and this feeling was entirely down to the members of the team I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Robert Lear in sales and Alexander Baxter in Lettings. Professional, friendly and on point with every aspect of the process. It was a no brainer to use Oakwood.

GoogleVery poor service and pravtice -was told if we offer above asking price property would be taken off the market-then told that other potential buyers would still be viewing property!also seem more interested in getting us to see their financial adviser and using their solicitors also .
Agent replied · 20 March 2026
Sorry to learn that you are unhappy Nigel. Your complaint is being reviewed fully. We will always allow any booked viewings to take place as best advice for our clients to achieve the right price and buyer for them. Also we have to report all offers to the seller right up until exchange of contracts to comply with current legislation. You are free to choose whoever you want for your mortgage or solicitors.

GoogleWe were selling my late father in laws property and initially we required a valuation for probate. Oakwoods were the only agents in the area that came back to us and helped us with this, so when the time came to instruct an agent to market the property Oakwoods were the obvious choice. They gave us a realistic valuation of the property and what our expectations should be. They did not over inflate the price, as some agents do, just to receive instruction and then drop the price after a few weeks because there was no interest. Oakwood actually sold the property within a week!
