Move Residential estate agents in Heswall and Liverpool

Poor level of service

We have dealt with probably 8 different estate agents in the area over the past 6 months whilst trying to buy our first house and unfortunately Move Residential have been shocking.We booked and completed a viewing of a house which was fairly painless. We found out from the owner during the viewing that the house was to be listed with another agent the very next day as they weren't happy with Move. We loved the house so put an offer in just below asking price after the viewing around 4pm as the owners were keen to sell quickly.The following day, Move required our offer to be "qualified" by an independent business (who oddly enough works in the Move offices). This was completed the day after the viewing. Then it all went quiet. We called the next day as we had no update or info. I even informed we were willing to increase the offer to full asking price. During this time and the next day the house was listed and sold by the other estate agents within 48hrs. We knew this as we spoke to the new agents who confined the house sold straight away.2 days later we still had no update on our offer from Move since it was qualified. Move haven't even called us back to inform us that the offer was not accepted, or that the house has now been sold. I called Move a few days after and spoke to the guy dealing with us and he had no update on the offer stating he couldn't get in touch with the owner. What a joke. We already knew the house was already sold with another estate agent.About 8 weeks later this house is still on the Move website and with Move on Rightmove with no mention of under offer or sold. I called and asked if they were taking any viewings. The guy said he didn't know so I explained weve already put an offer in on this house and heard nothing back and were very disappointed with the experience.He said he would investigate this and call back. Guess what... Of course nobody ever called back.Trying to buy a first house through them was a bad experience. I feel it we waited an extra day and booked the viewing with the new agents and offered asking we may have been successful. We now understand why the vendor moved to another agency. Surely having our offer on the table that has been verified by yourselves with all of our personal information and documentation sent and verified... we should have much received much more complete service experience, at the very least a phone call update on the offer. Heck.. Even an email saying 'not successful' would have done.

He has since continued to go out of his way to try to find me a new home. He is very approachable with a friendly & quietly confident demeanour. He was the reason that I stayed with this Agency. Overall not bad and some aspects worked well. I found it sometime difficult to get in touch with the branch before 11am. Towards the end of our sale the correspondence was good and quick to finalise the purchase

Poor customer service.

Called about viewing a property that was listed with Move Residential. I was told great and they would call the vendor to arrange. I was super keen to see this property so I informed them that I could see it at anytime and was flexible around the sellers. Another day passes so I called them back and they told me the house was sold. I understand that the market is booming at the moment, which is great for estate agents obviously. I do feel however that customer service has just gone out of the window when you don't call a potential buyer back - really poor.

FINAL SALE

Move Residential were very good during our sales process. We hit a stumbling block with a previous sale but they waited patiently for this to be sorted out.They were realistic with the initial asking price, generated loads of interest with good offers and managed the conveyancing process well from both sides.As far as I am concerned, if I was selling a house in Liverpool I would always recommend Move Residential. The team at Moves from start to finish were professional, courteous and more importantly in tune with the market. We originally went with one of the perceived competitors who in thirteen weeks managed one viewing with an offer 7% below the asking price. We switched to Moves and from day one had the right people viewing and offers that we were very happy with.It is important to have an estate agent with a client list of serious prospective buyers. Fantastic post-sales support team

I initially found it hard to get booked in to see properties and had to make multiple phone calls to chase it up. However, after I had an offer accepted on my new house, the post-sales team was fantastic. Absolutely awful service from the sales team in allerton. To date now, I have tried to arrange 7 viewings with them for different properties and they never call you back. When I see a house I like and their names is attached my heart sinks. They are just shocking! One of the houses I wanted to see, and was considering putting an offer on, they never called back and it’s now just been reduced! I would never put a house up with them.

Outstanding service

Move Residential and in particular Jenni from the sales progression team did a great job on what proved to be a very difficult sale. This made all the difference in getting the sale over the line, its easy to put an advert on the Internet but it takes a lot of work to get the deal done. I would always recommend using an agent who has a high street presence, online only agents can be a bit cheaper but you get what you pay for.

Perfect all round experience

Absolute sham of a company, taking holding fees is the new norm of standard charge for letting. I couldn’t recommend Move Residential more, they were professional but also personable from the date of valuation up until the day of completion. Very good experience

We had a very good experience with Move. Jack was very efficient in finding us the perfect house in a difficult market. We ended up in a chain of 10-11 houses and, at times, it felt like Rosie was single handedly making it happen.
