GoogleWe are so pleased we chose Mountgrange Heritage to sell our flat. Despite a challenging market the team remained positive and proactive. Gillian, our negotiator, was excellent. Determined to achieve a sale on our behalf, she always kept us informed and worked tirelessly to maintain the vital momentum needed to get the sale over the line. Over the years we have also used MGH as letting agents and found them excellent to deal with in this regard too.

Gillian was incredibly helpful throughout - nothing was ever too much trouble, and the whole experience felt genuinely personal rather than transactional. The communication and follow-up were excellent from start to finish, and Gillian consistently went out of her way to make everything as straightforward as possible. A real pleasure to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the Mountgrange Heritage team.

GoogleShort answer - They were AWESOME! Long answer - It’s a complicated thing to choose an agent for selling your house. I mean, we all ultimately just want the best price at the end of the day, right? But depending on who you are and what you think you know about the market, there are these variables that we think we can get on top of by finding an agent that knows how to work the levers; find an agent that likes to hustle and move, right? Honesty, over the years, my experience in the housing market has taught me the opposite and working with Emma Clowes and the team at Mountgrange (and they really are a team) has cemented in me a belief that trust and integrity are what really matter and the skill comes from earned and practiced professionalism. Anyone can sell houses in a bull market but we were working together so sell in a really difficult period, so many economic and market factors that made it virtually impossible to connect sellers to buyers. It was stand off territory for months. The skill that Emma and her team brought was in understanding what our situation was and how we should work that, a cross between patience and timing. Ultimately though, you can’t beat the market, you can’t trick someone into buying your house so I think, as much as anything else, the skill is in managing expectation. Emma would call every Tuesday (EVERY Tuesday) to check in, talk market and discuss options. Then when things started to move, when the offers came in, Emma handled the negotiations elegantly and deftly. We got a sale price we were genuinely happy with and the sale and conveying process was seamless. Truly, this is a team with patience and skill, they are a pleasure to work with and when things are difficult they go above a beyond the call of duty. Five stars no hesitation. Plus an extra one if I could.

From the outset, she took the time to understand my requirements, and the properties she has shown me have been well aligned with what I’m looking for - making the search feel focused and efficient. She has been very hands-on from the beginning. During our first property visit, she showed a tailored approach of being present but at the same time giving me the space to explore on my own, which made experiencing the property so natural. She also proactively suggested arranging a second visit allowing me to get a better sense of the space and ensuring it truly aligns with what I’m looking for. As a first-time buyer, I’ve really appreciated her willingness to share clear, practical insights on both the UK property purchase process and how she sees the current Prime Central London market. Being connected with a mortgage advisor early on was beneficial in the process. She has been attentive and easy to communicate with, while maintaining a personalised approach throughout the buying process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent with strong client-facing skills and efficiency.

GoogleAlthough I didn't end up transacting with Miuntgrage, I can only highly recommend them, and in particular, Charlotte. She sets the bar on what a good estate agent should be like, and she exceeds that consistently. With a genuine interest in what we were looking for, through to helping us to conceptialise floor plans/layout changes, through to offering us to see alternative properties beyond her remit, Charlotte is extremely solution focused. Natalie quickly understood our brief and introduced us to several properties which met our key criteria. She has been very responsive throughout, always punctual, quick to return calls and with great attention to detail when it came to agreeing contractual terms & conditions.
