GoogleThis was the worst experience buying a house from merryweathers ltd. Was dealing sue worthington in the sales department who i would describe as a person who couldn't negotiate her self out of a carrier bag. I found this member of staff to being absolutely useless the worst negotiator i have ever come across. i found that she was incompetent and had no interest in the buyer or the seller. Will not use this eastate agent again

GoogleTheir rental process was a nightmare because I'm self employed they had to do a million checks and charge me ridiculous amounts of money for 50 different things, even though I'd been paying rent on time for the past 4 years previously and on time. Some of the staff were rude and abrupt. The checking out process and handing keys back was much more pleasant and straightforward and I want to thank Louise specifically for this. She was polite and courteous and made things really easy.

GoogleSurveyor came out to value our property after the sale and undervalued it by £16,000.00. After 5 valuations at £120K, he then values at £100k !!!. After a sale agreed at £116k. Supposedly because of a property crash looming. Beware of any values this company make on your property. Use at your peril.!!!! Property crash thats going to be cursed by surveyors I think.

GoogleI came to Doncaster to view a property and found the estate agent very dedicated and professional.Nothing was too much trouble until my offer was accepted then they became uninterested and could not answer questions or do things asked of them causing me an extra expense of £150. Not Happy.

GoogleI had a few valuations for my property before deciding to choose Merryweathers. There were numerous reasons for this. Scott valued my property and his enthusiasm shone through. He was vibrant and full of life and this made me feel Merryweathers would give that same energy in selling my house. He also valued it at the best price and took in to account the extensive work I had done to improve the property. I had an offer from the first viewing and accepted. Throughout the process Alistair kept me informed with progress made no matter how little it was. I was very happy with their customer service and would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends and family. Thank you for the excellent service from the whole team.

GoogleAnd Jeremy Winkfield .I would love to say what a good service I received from Merryweathers when I recently sold my late mother's house. My first meeting with Scot soon convince me that I had made the right choice and had avoided the in personal "online estate agents".His abundance of local knowledge impressed me and at the end of our first meeting I felt reassured that the asking price was correct. There after,the friendliness and professionalism of Steve remained until the house was sold I highly recommend Merryweathers for their first class service .

GoogleThey do not respect customers. They call on Friday and inform you that we have been chosen by the owners. By doing so, we give up signing a contract with another agency. They agree with us to sign the contract on Monday. On Monday morning they ring to confirm our presence and interest in renting a house. We confirm, we say that we are taking this house 100 percent and we will be around 2:00 pm. We left earlier to sign a contract as soon as possible. We were before the appointed time and said that the house has already been rented. Perhaps this is discrimination!

GoogleI bought my new home in Laughton en le Morthen from Merryweather in Maltby after finding the property on Rightmove. From the start of the process to completion Shelley and the team dealt with me professionally, punctually and politely. They kept my Solicitor (PM Property Lawyers) on their toes, which they needed too. With regular updates on the process, it was very helpful and reassuring. Messages from myself to the Vendor were always made and vica-versa - they did anything and everything to make the process as stress free as possible. I’d have no hesitation to recommend them to buy from, I can’t comment on Selling but if they’re as attentive when Selling as Buying then I think they would get good results. GoogleWhat an incredible team at Maltby Merryweathers office! Emma and Shelley were so professional ,communicative , efficient, and personable throughout the 7 months it took to sell my 2 properties. No query was too small. I was kept updated so effectively and a superb solicitor was recommended as well as professionals to do various reports. Very highly recommended for the 5 star service. Well done!
