I have to give a special mention to Jade who has always been available, friendly and helpful when we've had questions. Therefore, Because of what previously happened with my offers and Because it's illogical now to see an offer just ahead of mine by only one hundred pounds and before you amend the AD, here I cancelled my offers. It comes to be a matter of trust, credibility, and transparency between buyer and agent. I do not know if this is  Merryweathers strategy, or if something is wrong with the Landlord or something wrong with the system. Been interested in buying a house they offered. At the beginning it's been going really well, the only annoying thing were additional sites giving you the opportunity to find solicitors, move companies, and plenty of other things at extra and insane costs.

We recently used Merryweathers in Doncaster for the sale of my Mums house as well as dealing with them on the purchase of a new bungalow. From start to finish the Merryweathers team have been professional and promptly arrived when they said they would. The initial engagement was quick and Scott came out to discuss costs within a few days of us making our initial enquiry. We already had a floor plan and EPC so that saved a few pounds as well as deciding to do our own viewing this is personal preference, we went for a fixed price no sale no fee rather than with some of the internet based agents where you pay regardless of a sale and while this was slightly more we had peace of mind. During the whole process. Tashana one of the sales negotiators ensured appointments where coordinated between us and potential buyers and provided prompt feedback on viewings in a professional yet friendly and approachable manner. Traditional may not always be the cheapest but you do get good results using the Merryweathers Doncaster team who are to a person friendly and professional and deliver what they promise.

Merryweathers Doncaster, their valuer came out to view my house, he is an elderly gentleman, who can presumably remember when houses cost £200 each. He valued my house at £40k, for this gem of information and their service he wanted to charge me £1500. I sold the house 1 week later for £50k, using a sign in the window with my phone number on. He also valued another house of mine at £40k or less, even though it was producing £7500 per anum, I had aniother valuation at £70k. So if you want to pay for useless information, Merryweathers is the firm to go to.

Pleasant enough to deal with.

Pleasant enough to deal with. I offered £140000 on a property back in May 24 only to be told that I would need to significantly increase my offer in order to be in with a chance of buying. The property was listed for £120000. I have just seen on Zoopla that the property finally sold for £125000, significantly lower than my offer. It would be interesting to know why I wasn’t contacted prior to the house selling well below my offer price.

I had a few valuations for my property before deciding to choose Merryweathers. There were numerous reasons for this. Scott valued my property and his enthusiasm shone through. He was vibrant and full of life and this made me feel Merryweathers would give that same energy in selling my house. He also valued it at the best price and took in to account the extensive work I had done to improve the property. I had an offer from the first viewing and accepted. Throughout the process Alistair kept me informed with progress made no matter how little it was. I was very happy with their customer service and would highly recommend them.
