I think it’s fair to say that Estate Agents in general evoke a mixed reaction. I have nothing but praise for the Ambleside Branch of Matthews Benjamin. I cannot fault their professionalism and their ability to communicate and keep me informed. The selling process has not been easy with the pandemic , however through the efforts of the team , in particular Janet , we reached our exchange last week. Whenever I had a query or I needed information Janet would be straight back with advice and guidance. She is just the sort of person one needs when selling a property.

Getting our house to 'sale agreed' took quite a long time. There were times during this phase when we'd have appreciated a bit more proactive communication from Matthews Benjamin but in truth the delay was largely attributable to the conditions of the local housing market. Once we had 'sale agreed' however communication from the office was exactly what we needed, thanks to Nicola (who was great) we were kept fully up-to-date with the sale process.

The service we received during the sale of our property was outstanding. We met Jack for the valuation and instantly liked his manner and professionalism and had every confidence in him showing potential buyers around the property.
