GoogleI used Lindsays to help me administer my late father's estate and to handle the sale of his flat. Overall the service was good - the team were quick to respond to enquiries and did a good job in dealing with a few unexpectedly difficult and complex matters which arose. The conveyancing team were very fast, professional and straight to the point. I would have given a higher rating overall but I was concerned and frustrated at an occasional lack of attention to detail. Documents prepared on my behalf contained basic errors which, had I not picked them up, would have help up the administration process. I know mistakes can happen, but I expected that a high profile, and expensive, law firm would be on top of the small details.

GoogleHaving now had two horrendously bad experiences in a row with buying and selling a home, I realised I really am long overdue for the five star review Lindsays deserve for their handling of my first home purchase. They were absolute stars from the start: keeping me notified every step of the way without any need for prompting; raising and resolving potential issues swiftly and with minimal fuss or fluff; and just generally handling the whole process with professionalism and efficiency. Years later, when it came time to sell that property, they were every bit as prompt and courteous in providing the missing details I needed to complete my sale. At the time, I presumed all property solicitors would display a similar degree of competence. Ah, hindsight! I warmly recommend them, and they'd certainly be top of my list if I ever move back to the area.

I have been a client at Lindsay's for several years. My affairs are always dealt with in a very professional and friendly way. Recently I had the pleasure of receiving support & guidance from Samera Ali in preparation of my Will & POA. They are difficult documents to prepare with regards to the impact and importance of decisions to make, but throughout the process, Samera was very approachable, friendly, helpful, constructive and compassionate. Always very prompt in answering questions- emails were replied to and tasks actioned very quickly. I appreciated the follow up once the document was finally registered Thank you Samera for all your help.

Our meetings with legal staff were hugely reassuring ; they quickly understood the concerns we had about how we needed to adapt our will and trust arrangements and Grant Johnson had a clear and thoughtful plan of how we could make arrangements for our children which safeguarded them, and us .Ginny Lawson ( senior paralegal ) made the resulting changes needed to re- registering title deeds of properties quickly and efficiently . A very friendly and caring service . Would recommend this firm very highly .

Everyone I've encountered there has been friendly and helpful. My solicitor Lindsay always replied promptly to any queries I had even when I just needed her to put my mind at rest. GoogleTracy and Reena did a wonderful job of selling my flat in Edinburgh. Sold in just over a week! They were exceptionally efficient with all aspects of marketing and sales, and gave me regular updates throughout the process. Excellent advice about pricing and offers and I was particularly delighted with the video made for the advert as it really showed my property off really well and brought in lots of viewings. Thanks to all the team at Lindsays. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

In what was a very difficult time, both my parents passing within one week of one another and no wills in place. However Samera at Lindsays explained everything clearly and gave us a realistic timescale, which she did beat, all our e mails were answered either that same day or more often within the hour. Everything has now been concluded and we cannot recommend Samera enough. Suffice to say she will be dealing with our own wills.
