I dispise every person except 1 at this company (she no longer works for them).Changing plans as they wanted to, falsifying records, deleting documentation, breaking DP laws, 14 months and still have issues reported the day we moved in. Wish we could give the house back! I DO NOT recommend this company or the people within it. Regional Directors and MDs clearly do not care about their customers either. Customer Service.... UMMMM there is none.I work for a housebuiler and would never treat people the way we have been treated or allow them to continue in a house with so many faults. 14 months plus and still not sorted. NHBC have helped sightly!

We bought our Dream Home from Bovis but it has turned out to be a nightmare!We bought our "premium" property in June 2019 and it has had so many fundamental build defects! From incorrectly wired hot water tank that bypassed the thermostat causing the water temperature to be higher than the point of scalding, to having weak mortar whereby all the mortar to half the height of the house has had to be removed, the flooring upstairs has bodged noggins, not been glue or affixed and the boards fall short of ending on the joists. The stairs have not been installed properly. The patio was built too close to the house causing water ingress and damaging the Amtico flooring which has now been up for over a year and these are just but a few of the defects. Bovis employ delaying tactics, take months to book work in, 18 months from first reporting the weak mortar and it is still in progress, over a year our kitchen flooring has been up and still we don't have a date when it will be rectified. They do not monitor their contractors and even when we have highted to them that the contractors are not working to HSE regulations they have repeatedly failed to do anything about it. They have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to our property and do nothing but argue about rectifying. I could go on for hours listing the hundreds of snags and defects we have encountered in this "premium" property, suffice to say if I could give them a lower score I would - avoid at all costs!

We as a family started our journey with linden homes in February 2020 at the brockworth Perrybrook Site , we had been looking for a new home for a while and I called in on my way home from London and met Dan for the first time , he was very courteous and attentive during that first meeting and made me feel at ease and very welcome. We met again the next day this time with my wife and the decision was made to purchase plot number 13. The process went very smoothly until cv19 and the lockdown however I have to say Dan and the team kept us updated at all times during a very frustrating period for us all, we finally moved in to our new house in October and I have been very happy with our treatment right the way through the process a very professional organisation all the people we have dealt with have been a credit to Linden and Dan has been exemplary from start to finish a true professional , I am a Sales Director myself working in the fenestration industry so I really do know what exemplary looks like and Dan personifies this.Well done to all at Perrybrook Linden and I was a little apprehensive as this is my first New build purchase but I would happily recommend Linden and the team . The reviews about Linden homes on this page almost made us think twice about buying from Linden, I’m glad they didn’t.We had a fantastic experience with Locksley place , Enfield team.Aaron Cansdale , project sales manager is extremely good with his job. He was extremely helpful,thorough in Pre and immediate post sale period.He was always availbale on the phone , even on weekends, and in the evenings .I think this is best quality for any sales person.Other sales team Sarah and Gill were good in their roles and kept me updates all the time.Emmanual, site manager is superb when it comes to get things done promptly. Always accesible.Good to talk to and always comes across as helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.I met highly efficient team at Locksley place and they all made our journey very smooth, from first viewing to completion.I highley recommend Linden homes , Locksley place Enfield.

Due to the current situation, this was delayed to March 2021 which we completely understand. A couple months later they told us the house would be ready in June/July and not March. This is the only complaint we have against Bovis as we was supposed to be in our house by now, but it was delayed several times.

We have been in our new Linden Home in Sherford Plymouth now for just over 7 weeks. The sales team in particular Karen Dove with the help of Debbie really did all they could to help us secure our dream home and we cannot thank them enough. Since moving in we have been in the hands of the site team for our snags and outstanding works. Matt O'Connor has been very good and advised of works and helped organise trades to return to clear issues we have had, we can't fault him. We are now operating on the clixifix site and hope that the same level of service is received with this, as we have logged further snags for remedy.

What should have been a dream home has turned into a nightmare no use of a garden since we moved in 3 years ago down to flooding no drainage. cloakroom toilet part missing causing the toilet to leak damaged woodwork door frames flooring 8 visits to fix it!! Windows all needed replacing new front door as not fitted correctly leaking into hallway. Uneven flooring and they say it’s within NHBC tolerance !!! If you buy one if these 60 minute builds keep back at least £20.000 plus to correct all their cowboy contractors has workmanship

If I could give no stars I would. Such a bad service. Just emailed a complaint but don't suppose I'll get a response from that either. Had to jump through hoops for affordability check even when you know you can afford it. Declined and cancelled our viewing because I cant get Aprils tax return before 5th, even when bank statements and service contracts can be provided and if it take 6-9 weeks to complete I'll have the return by then. Mortgage team were rude and made me feel like I wasn't worth anything and would never own my own home. Lady I just spoke to from Linden after days of trying to speak to someone was rude, arrogant, condescending, patronised me and didnt like it when she got it back from me and raised her voice at a customer! Absolutely appalling way to deal and treat with customers.

I recently purchased a Bovis house which was built around 2002. Just one elderly couple that had lived here before me. The boiler was the original so I had it replaced as it wasn't working well. That was the beginning of everything going horribly wrong. Pipe connectors started popping and leaks appearing everywhere. My plumber was shocked at the bad workmanship and how cheap, inadequate connectors had been used. I only moved in two months ago and already he has had to replace around 6, each one creating nasty leaks leaving stains all over ceilings, walls etc. The worst scenario was last night when what I thought was dreadful rain outside turned out to be flood water pouring through the ceiling in the living room and cloakroom. Dashed down to find myself in 2ins of water in the hallway, kitchen and sodden carpet in the living room. Yet again another connector had burst!! As a recently widowed lady in her 60s this has not been a good start to my new home! I am terrified of going to bed, or coming in if I've been out in case there is another leak. Speaking to some of the neighbours here, it seems that they have had similar scenarios over the last 18 years. One gentleman and his wife had only been living here for two weeks after it was built and Bovis had to put them up in a hotel due to burst pipes in their new house!! This is completely and utterly disgraceful and I fail to see how a company like this is allowed to get away with such shocking and disgusting treatment of the general public for whom they are very grateful for all the money they take off them!!! Surely this should not be allowed to continue?? All the reviews I have read on here, the majority of them seem to feel the same way that I do. Time they should be made accountable!!! Doesn't matter what the age of the property is, if they were built properly there shouldn't be these awful problems. Also saying these disgusting problems aren't just to their new builds - buyers beware!!

Terrible customer service once the house has sold. Took them over a year to inform Thames Water we had moved in leaving us with a huge bill and after telling us they would cover the bill as they messed up are now telling us they won’t do anything. They have done the same to our neighbour and are not willing to help one bit. Totally useless company. If buying from them expect to wait months and months after talking to them and chasing them to get anything sorted, no response from their customer service. Also check the amount of rubbish they leave under your bath, under your turf etc. We found a piece of reinforcement bar sticking out of our grass and tonnes or rubbish under the turf, no wonder it died within months. Terrible company wish I had of just purchased an older house as would have been less hassle completely rebuilding a house than getting Bovis to come and fix a door lock... avoid the cowboys, they are a pathetic excuse of a developer.

Dreadful build quality and design. Little thought given to logical layout. Therefore if you are in a semi detached they put both lounges next to each other with a breezeblock and plasterboard partition wall. Brilliant work Bovis! You can hear everything. Thudding footsteps also because they put the flimsy floor across both properties to cut corners. I expect a little noise but I may as well be living with the neighbours. This being a £370k house by the way. Weatherboard outside coming off after a year and a half. They don’t care. They are sunning themselves in the Caribbean with the profits they make for lousy houses. This country is bottom of the heap in Europe for bad building and Bovis at the forefront.

To even know where to begin with this review is filling me with dread and anxiety and if someone had given me the foresight to avoid using linden homes i would’ve avoided a whole year of heart ache.The houses look beautiful on their website and the face to face customer service is second to none! They’ll become your best friend..... but please don’t be fooled....once you’ve handed over your life savings for your dream home you’re forgotten.... we’ve been here a year now and have had endless problems..... the customer service has been probably the worst I’ve ever experienced in my whole life from everyone I’ve had to deal with.... even the “highest” person in charge.... they really honestly DO NOT GIVE A ****They do not return your calls..... speak to you like dirt and if you do get an appointment for someone to come and repair the ENDLESS problems you’ll face... they just don’t turn up.I can’t tell you the saga that started when we came to collect the keys because I’ve written about it so many times to complain and nothing has even been acknowledged never mind dealt with.... and reading all the reviews on here .... lots of people have all had very different stories but with the same outcome ..... nothing is done to make you glad you bought your house with these people ..... spend your hard earned money elsewhere and save yourself an emotional breakdown

Well!!!!! Where should I start. Bought this property a year ago after one of the other properties on this site fell through, which I found hard to believe as they said it was not affordable to me... absolutely crap linden homes.Had the mortgage in place, so they offered me a 3 bedroom across the road. Talk about not finished, snagging order went in after 2 weeks and to this date absolutely nothing has been done. No attention to detail, they sub contract out to cowboys absolutely terrible. If other houses were missing things this must of been the house I purchased to come in and take what they want. I have a fridge with no shelving only a wine rack where I’m balancing my eggs on, and still not got them.I’m fuming with this company, sales team promising this and that... what a load of crap... all lies.To anybody thinking of purchasing a property from this shower think again... they promise the world, but actually doing it is another thing.Regarding the landscaping... to be honest I’m not even going to go their, again cowboy landscapers.Don’t buy from Kingsgate Development !!!!!!!!

Although it hasn’t been the smoothest journey (what new build is?!) we couldn’t have asked for a better service from our site manager and sales reps on site at Harpers Heath. There have been problems, but they’ve sorted it out straight away and I can’t fault the honesty in admitting when something has gone wrong. We’ve been really pleased with the finish to our house and the communication we’ve had so far. Linden do get a bad rep, but if you have a half decent site manager and you’re on it with checking things - you’ll be fine and love your house as much as we do.

Trustpilot*** Over 3 Years to fix a porch and the street left like a bomb site ***
If I was to say that I have several emails regarding sorting out a porch would be a massive understatement. I have checked my inbox and have well over 100.Moved in September 2017 and noticed beginning of 2018 that the porch was peeling on our Southwold. Firstly they tried bodging this up by painting it (bare in mind the porch is plastic). As you can imagine this did not work.Fast forward to summer of 2020 (Yes 2020) and we finally had our porch replaced. This has been after years of fob offs about the porches being sent damaged and me constantly chasing for a resolution. The porch was fitted while I was working so it was only upon completion that I could inspect it. The porch fitted was worse than the original. Substandard quality finish and filler all over it. So noticeable it would question as to who they have supplying these porches.Since this there have been 2 porches sent out to us to be fitted and these are even worse quality that what they have already fitted (didn't think it would be possible but it is) which I have refused to accept.We have currently been left with sourcing an alternative ourselves. We have sourced this and put the cost forward to Bovis which they have accepted however expect us to fork our thousands of pounds of our own money and wait until they are ready to refund us. I have requested a same day transfer as I am sure many people can agree that a few grand is not pocket change. As it stands I have been waiting the best part of 3 weeks to be told if this is possible or not.From a residents perspective. Our area of the development has been completed over 3 years now yet the road has still not been adopted. What should be grass along the footpaths has been left year on year to allow weeds to grow as high as 5 foot!When they do cut the trees it's done with so little care that debris has been fired the best part of 20 feet from the ditch to our front doors, striking our cars and front windows.Recently had to dig up everyone's gardens because the roads wouldn't be adopted due to them planting our boundaries too close to the curb (yes took them 3 years to notice). Left mud all out the front of residents houses with no rush to 'make good' the mess they have made. Been 3 weeks now and they have still not rectified the mess to the front of peoples properties.Anyone considering buying from them should seriously consider. While there have been instances that have been rectified, on the whole once you are in they couldn't make it any more blatant that they don't care.
