the worst company i have ever delt with, they rush you into everything like selling your house putting reservations down then AFTER tell you the house isn't even built yet and they have no brick layers for foreseeable future, the sales team screams dodgy avoid at all costs, feel like me and my pregnant girlfriend have dodged a big bullet with linden homes never ever will go near them again

Anyone even thinking of buying one of these shoddily built houses, first Google 'YVETTE DAVIS LINDEN HOMES' to see the truth of how these #LifeWreckers behave once they have your hard earned money. I see they are building in Basingstoke, Hounsome Fields ..#BUYERBEWARE do your research and don't make a mistake that will ruin your life. 'YVETTE DAVIS LINDEN HOMES'... please do yourself a favour and Google it. I wouldn't wish my 5.5 year hell on any innocent new home buyer.

Very badly built homes. Cardboard boxes. I had to have my lawn laid twice as it was flooding on one side. No one took responsibility and I had to have it dug up again. Ended up with fake lawn which sounds crispy when I walk on the side with poor drainage. I spent so many days and nights upset. I would never buy from Bovis again. I can not recommend BOVIS. BUYER BEWARE.

Bovis is the worst builder in the UK. They are bunch of liars and the customer care does not exist. Quality of their build is poor and all they want is get hold of your money and that will be it. We are in Oxfordshire and we will advise anyone intending to deal with this company to go elsewhere because you will regret dealing with Bovis. We read reviews about the company last year July 2020 - most of these reviews were negative but we still chose to ignore the reviews which proved to be the greatest mistake of our lives. We moved into our property 2020 and we are still chasing them May 2021 to put things right from our snag list. Walls are uneven, switch meant to control the induction cooker controls the fridge (how could a mistake like this occur?). Water leaks into parts of the house. Internal painting has patches, wall cracks, the list is endless. Similar stories from neighbours that also bought from Bovis.If you have the misfortune of making contact with their so called customer service department, you will either be ignored or they respond with lies. Bovis now disguising itself under a new name "Vistry" is nothing but a corporate cow bow builder. If you choose to go with Bovis after reading this review along with others, please choose your own solicitors and not one recommended by Bovis. We chose to go ahead with Bovis because we liked the house design and we got emotionally attached. Please run more than mile away from them if you are not yet emotionally attached otherwise get yourself ready for serious heart and head aches. We once raised our frustration with their CEO but we got no response back which tells you that they are rotten from the top down.

I would suggest anyone buying a Bovis/Vistry home to invest in a professional snagging report on completion. We haven’t had the best of experiences but it Is their Customer Care that leaves a lot to be desired. Lack of communication, over promising & under delivering & a serious lack of ownership of issues in our home. Dreadful.

Absolutely abysmal following purchase of the property 5 years ago. Many snagging issues took multiple visits to resolve and uncovered cheap substitute materials as a cause. Landscape gardeners that appear 5 years late and in multiple ways damage the landscape they are supposed to be enhancing.Roads still not adopted and tarmaced 5 years on due to disagreements with United utilities (local water company). The senior management including Roger Bebbington couldn’t care less.

Hey guys seen alot of issues raised as a construction worker myself, I van see that the main issue isn't what linden deal with unfortunately they have to bring in plumbers brickies and the general finishing of the builds. As to play Park review I was looking at a house myself if you actual drove down the road you would of seen it, do apologise for the rant just saw alot of bad feed back which isn't there fault if you moved on the frist block of houses and there's issue then they have to get in touch with each individual company that the issues fall under. They can't help time deal on this point

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Were keen to charge me reservation fee and a week later called to say transaction needs to be completed within 6 weeks. That was impossible given I was in a chain and due to stamp duty holiday, banks were overworked. And even before the 6 weeks were over, they decided to cancel the booking without any notice. It cost me £450 in evaluation fee and 6 months in, I am still waiting for my reservation fee refund. Keep telling me it will be refunded on the day when I call.

Do not buy on the development it says there was going to be a play park as their isn't any round here and for us that was important due to having kids. We had to pay a lot of money out to have garden re done as linden didnt wanna know cant open windows properly and all my floor down stairs is scratched and linden will not take responsibility. With all these bad reviews why are people still buying of them that's why they dont give a dam because they know people will still buy

If you purchase a house through Linden Homes be prepared that if you have issues with the home, you will get little to no resolution with anything.We were the first to move into our development over a year and a half ago and we still have a number of issues with the property. Linden homes do not respond to emails and seemingly don't really care about any kind of after care or customer service once you are in the property. Its our first time buying a new build home and given the chance again it would NOT be a Linden homes property.

Terrible company, do not waste your money. Negligent practices, long list of issues that are quite serious and absolute lack of care. If you have 3 years to engage in pointless conversations and waste a great deal of money than speak to these guys they are expert cowboys.

Having initially given 5 stars I’m sadly reducing this to one.Verbal abuse from the site manager. 20 snags outstanding one year on. Impossible to sit in my garden in the summer due to the site kicking sand up like a Sahara desert storm. Site manager thought it acceptable to take (he said he borrowed it when confronted) my neighbours wheel barrow. Then gave me a load of abuse when I went to find who’d taken it. Shocking treatment or customers and lack of respect. There’s a Barrat Homes site next door in Doncaster; I’d look at buying one of those and give Vistry/Linden a wide berth.

We bought our first home in December - bar a few issues with the mortgage everything has been smooth sailing! We dealt with Paul in the Waters Edge Site throughout our booking and he was nothing short of fabulous! Since moving in we had a couple of big snags, which have been addressed! This included pulling up our garden patio and installing a drain as we had huge pooling in the garden near the patio doors ( they did this the day after we mentioned it) We have had our drive way retarmacked as that was looking slightly! Our snag list wasn't that big tbh but they've been amazing at fixing everything. Lynn who is the customer care point of contact for sorting these, has been incredible! Keeps updated and gets everything sorted pronto! I was sceptical about my buy after reading these reviews. But remember people are more likely to leave a bad review over a good review! So take everything with a pinch of salt! We bought phase 1 off plan and honestly couldn't have asked for anything better, the site team are polite and tbh I barely hear them works even though they're building the houses right that back on from my garden. The site managers have been amazing at responding to all texts ( no matter what time of day) over all, super happy! I honestly think people think the house should be 'perfect' the moment you move in. They are built by people, not robots. Thank you to all the Linden Homes North West Team and the Droylsden Waters Edge team! You've been amazing! Sarah and Glen

Stay well clear of this company. Everyone I speak to on the estate has had enough of them. Shoddy work, crap customer service.Since moving in we have had the entire house re painted, downstairs flooring replaced, back garden needs digging up as it floods, front garden has been laid twice and is still shocking, all of the glass in the windows needs replacing because it’s all scratched. Jus appalling.

I am in the process of buying a property at the Kilnwood vale development with Linden homes, the property won’t be ready until the end of the year however I have already given them a holding deposit. Are there currently any home owners on the development who can point me down the right direction whether this is a good or bad decision. I am first time buyer and don’t really have a great knowledge of what to expect at the Kilnwood Vale development with Linden Homes.

We were the first family to buy on Kirkleatham Green at Redcar. Danielle who sold us the house was and still is absolutely brilliant. She went above and beyond in helping us find our forever home. Nothing was too much trouble. She is so friendly and approachable. Our house is perfect. The quality of materials used on our property are next to none. Any snags we found were sorted straight away. We can’t fault any of the team. They are all fantastic. Thank you again.

Bought our first home in Redcar, Kirkleatham Green and we are over the moon with it.The home and plot is perfect and the sales assistant's Danielle and Ben have been amazing with us from start to finish.Few small snags as expected but they have been quick to note them down and rectify any issues we have had.We have had a really great experience and would highly recommend Linden homes to anyone.

GoogleShocking aftercare service, be warned they will only deal with settlement cracks that are wider than a pound coin! My new build also had an Infestation of flies and mice in loft which I had to pay to be removed.
