GoogleWe highly recommend this estate agent. The staff are very knowledgeable of the area. As we live in Nottingham, we relied on them to keep us updated and couldn't fault the communication we received. Fil, Chloe, Janine, and Talia were so helpful and professional and went over and above to help us achieve the sale. Nothing was too much trouble.

GoogleI can’t recommend Talia at Lawler & Co Estate Agents highly enough. I called numerous times asking for updates, and while she was probably getting annoyed by my voice, she couldn't have been more in our corner dealing with our purchase. Right from the get go, Talia was incredibly responsive to both emails and calls. If she wasn't available, a promised call back was always made without fail, which makes such a massive difference when you're waiting on news. She was always as helpful as could be, keeping us in the loop and putting our minds at ease. I would highly recommend Talia at Lawler & Co Estate Agents, she is a real credit to the team!

Natalie has been a consummate professional throughout the entire buying process, has always been super friendly, quick to reply and on hand to support when needed. GoogleA very disappointing experience with Lawler & Co Marple, from arranging a viewing to arriving at a property we never got to see. There were mistakes from the outset, including booking us to view the wrong property, which I had to call back to correct. Our appointment was then cancelled because the vendor we actually wanted to see was unavailable, before we were told it could go ahead after all. By that point we had arranged other viewings, so agreeing a new time took further back and forth. Frustrating, but these things happen. The main problem came on the day. The map pin on the listing was a considerable distance from the actual property. We spent around 30 minutes driving between two very long (very bad and rural) lanes trying to find it, calling the office several times for help with no response. Eventually, a local pointed us in the right direction. When we finally arrived, the agent was not there. We later learned that she had already left. There were no estate agent boards anywhere to help identify the property. Not further down the lane, not even outside the property. At no point did the viewing agent think to call to check where we were or offer directions. When she later called back and I explained what had happened, she offered no apology. She said she had waited for 20 minutes and had left her phone behind, so could not contact us. We had travelled a considerable distance to specifically see this property and never got inside. An accurate map location, clear directions and a phone call could have made all the difference. Mistakes are understandable; the lack of communication and apology was particularly disappointing.

We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet the standard we aim to provide and that you were unable to view the property after travelling such a considerable distance. We apologise for the confusion surrounding the initial booking and the subsequent changes to the appointment arrangements. We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly when you had already made other viewing plans. Regarding the viewing itself, we are sorry that the property's map location caused difficulties in finding the property. We appreciate how challenging rural locations can be to locate, and we acknowledge the frustration this caused. On the day, our viewing agent waited at the property for approximately 20 minutes before leaving for her next appointment. Saturdays are typically our busiest day for viewings, with appointments scheduled throughout the day, and unfortunately we are unable to extend waiting times significantly beyond this without affecting the many clients and vendors who have appointments later in the schedule. While this does not change the disappointment you experienced, we hope it provides some context regarding the decision to leave the property. That said, we recognise that better communication may have helped avoid this outcome, and we are sorry that you felt we fell short in this regard. We always value feedback as it helps us review and improve our processes. We appreciate your comments and wish you every success with your property search.

GoogleI bought my house through Lawler recently, and was in the middle of a fairly long chain which is always stressful. But they were diligent and in regular contact to keep the chain moving and as stress-free as these things can be. I'm now happily settled in my new home and would happily recommend them to others!

GoogleWe just sold our house through Lawler. The whole process took about 1.5 months. From getting an offer to completion it took only 34 days. Everything was straightforward and moved incredibly smoothly. I don’t think we can get better service than this. Milo came to valuate our house really fast after we called. Lucy did all the pictures and she let us know about every viewing and the feedback. She negotiated for us and helped us achieve the ideal price. Then Sophie helped with the negotiation after buyer's survey. All the staff we spoke to were professional, knowledgeable, warm and supportive. They made the whole process so much easier than expected. We really appreciated the hard work and we definitely recommend using Lawler to sell your house.

GoogleI have successfully sold my 3 bed semi detached in Stockport with Lawlers and am happy with the service provided by the whole team. From the initial valuation, marketing information, numerous accompanied viewings & final completion, I was kept informed at each stage. Unfortunately the chain was problematic and the process dragged on longer than anyone could foresee but I felt supported all the way to the end

GoogleIf you are lucky enough to have Chloe as your sales progressor, then you are in for a treat. Chloe was a fantastic support to us throughout, she is professional, supportive and kind, she is always just on the other end of the phone, always responsive to emails and very, very patient with me. The process of selling your home can be stressful and confusing but, with absolute professionalism, She walked us through the whole process and supported us every step of the way.
