Use Lawlers in Marple to sell my late Aunties house which completed last month and I felt that they did a great job. Dealt mainly with Janine who updated us every step of the way, in a timely manner although all staff that I had contact with were friendly and helpful. Not easy to choose an Estate Agent to sell your house as they all charge roughly the same price but I would say that Lawlers Marple is a well run branch with knowledgeable staff.

Initially dealt with the viewing of my new house through the Hyde Office, I dealt with both Imogen and Stacey who were very friendly and professional. During the sales process I dealt with Chloe in the Marple office who was great, she kept me up to date at all times, chased when necessary and was on hand to answer all queries. Lawler & Co provided first class service throughout the entire sale and purchase process. We were so pleased with the marketing of our house, especially the superb photographs and detailed description. As a result, our house was sold within 3 weeks of being on the market ! Janine and Talia hosted the viewings and you could tell they were passionate about the house and had taken time to familiarise themselves with it well in advance of any viewings taking place. Chloe took control of the process after our house was sold and managed all the stakeholders in the chain really well. Molly was brilliant! Not so for the other members of staff who I won’t name… they had an issue with the price of my purchase and seemed to take it personally so much so even my solicitor called me to say they had been very off with her and was there a problem. I had been told on the phone that I had had my offer accepted and they couldn’t believe it, they didn’t congratulate me they were so put out that my offer had been accepted (it was not that low!) the property I had bought needed a lot of work doing and they needed a quick sale, they were in disbelief that the seller had accepted and told me this at length and were very rude, completely ruining what should be a very happy moment as a buyer. They weee also very curt on the phone on further calls and made a point of calling me several times although I was more than up to date with email contact and replies. Molly showed me the property and was brilliant, stayed late for a visit for me and was very supportive by comparison so thank you so much Molly! She also was very intuitive showing me this property as it was a perfect fit.

I bought a house recently through Lawler and co. They were excellent and when I need to sell I will use them. As a buyer I felt very informed and secure in the purchase. They were often more useful at following up with progress than the solicitors. I wouldn’t use Stratfords solicitors (as suggested by Lawler) as they don’t have a digital tracking system and only updated when chased.
