GoogleThe lovely staff at Lang Town and Country Plymstock have all been hugely supportive of my purchase - despite numerous delays none of which were the fault of theirs. They have done their utmost to make a stressful time bearable. And a bottle of bubbly- how very welcome on completion.

GoogleThis company leave the competitors in their wake. Prior to selling I visited every agent in my home town to discuss their business procedures and costs and really ask ‘why should I sell via them’. From the first encounter it was apparent LTC were head and shoulders above the rest . The disparity between agents is phenomenal with some well known agents being down right dire. In mine and my wife’s opinion one person stood out amongst a pretty amazing team with Olivia being solely responsible for finding us our dream home. Despite rejecting many newly listed properties Olivia was relentless in searching for a property that suited our needs. She listened to what we wanted and delivered. We personally found her extremely professional with a slick courteous manner. Her presentation , photographs description of our property for sale resulted in 16 viewings booked in the first 3 days , over 900 hits on the website and the property selling for full asking price on day two. I can not recommend this company enough and if you doubt me - try for yourself. Thank you Olivia , Thank you Lang Town and Country.

The good work by Lang resulted in a swift sale exceeding the asked for price, what more could we of asked for? GoogleWould whole heartedly recommend! The service we received from Lang, Town & Country was exceptional. They were exceedingly professional, efficient and cost effective throughout. However, perhaps the most pleasing part was the personal touch. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The advice and support we received proved invaluable in securing an early sale and smooth completion. Any challenges were handled in a reassuring and positive manner, with the minimum of stress. As our consultant/Negotiator, Olivia was outstanding and we feel very fortunate to have had her at our side. That said, we were acutely aware of the support provided by Holly, Natalie and the rest of the team. Olivia proved a great ambassador for her Company and Lang Town & Country should feel very proud of their Plymstock Office.

FacebookI let my family home through Lang Town and Country Sales and Lettings, which was a daunting prospect for me. Their friendly and very professional staff ensured that this process was made far less stressful than it would have been. The house remains let and any issues that have arisen have arisen have been swiftly and efficiently dealt with by them. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

FacebookI had a great initial meeting with the manager Mark. Confident but not pushy at all about using them. Valuable advice given to me. Sharlotte then took the lead and oversaw the viewings. I was no longer based in the City so the company did it all. Nothing was too much trouble with frequent email communication and phone calls as necessary. The rest of the viewing team kept me informed as viewings took place. Then over to Debbie for house sale. Again excellent service. Overall I would give them 5/5. So huge thank you from me. A genuinely wonderful service.

GoogleAgents are always very polite when you are dealing. We were good tenants, always paid our rent on time, kept the flat clean, logged maintenance issues quickly and were patient for the repairs to be done. However we always had to chase up any issues logged on their online website before anything was actually done, other than them just 'acknowledging' the log. We had major problem in the last 6 months of a tenancy with the bathroom, yet they didn't seem able to get this across to the landlord to insist that something useful was done to resolve it. The biggest mistake we made was taking their word on good faith, they did not provide us with a detailed, updated tenancy when we moved in, but took photos, which they later deigned existed. We left the flat in a much cleaner state than when the tenancy started, yet they still tried to charge us obscure and punitive charges. Which we disputed and got most removed. we would highly recommend getting everything they say in writing, regardless how nice they seem over the phone, insisting they do a thorough job at a change of tenancy and taking your own photos when you move in. ***in response to the letting agents response below*** Thank you for looking back at the log dates. It is unfortunate did you could not respond to many maintenance issues promptly. We have numerous logs where we had to phone over a week later as you did not respond via the online the log. For instance it took over a month to send a plumber out when we reported a leaking shower. We also note that the 'charges for removal of furnature' that the landlady said she would not charge to compensate for the drains, (despite that fact we left the furniture under your instruction) were never actually incurred, as in the current photos online the furniture is still there. We paid fees for a new tenancy at the start of our tenancy so expected the job to be done thoroughly.
Thank you for your review. We have looked through your file to investigate your unhappiness on vacating the property. After looking into the maintenance issue which you raised above we note that once this issue had been received a contractor was instructed on the same day and they attended a couple of days later. Many attempts were made to rectify this issue with various other contractors attended including South West Water but no cause could be found to where the odour from the shower was coming from. We do understand that this must have been very frustrating for you but all attempts were made to rectify the situation. With regards to updating your tenancy when you moved in, as you were not the original tenants but were change over tenants (you each replaced the original tenants during their periodic tenancy) the process for this is completely different to how we deal with our “normal move in appointments”. Although you were provided with an inventory once you had signed an agreement in your own right, the inventory provided to you was based on the original and was also carried out whilst you were in tenancy making it extremely difficult for a true report to be carried out as your personal belongings as well as any furniture that had been added during the 4 years of different tenants being in situ. The original inventory (carried out 4 years ago) was a written report. We do now use a combined photo and written report which is provided at the start of the tenancy. We would always ask that you put all correspondence in writing including follow ups from a telephone conversation. Our company also has a complaints procedure in place to deal with issues that you may experience during your tenancy. We note also that negotiations were made with regards to charges for cleaning at the end of your tenancy. Which was dealt with in house rather than you having to raise a dispute with the TDS which can be a lengthy process. The TDS do like tenants and agents/landlords to deal with these issues in house and I am glad that a final settlement was agreed. You were very good tenants and we wouldn’t hesitate in providing you with a positive reference in the future should you require.

I had a temporary let for 2 years and the service received from Rebecca at the North Hill office was professional, helpful, friendly and really nice. The whole letting experience from signing up-to-date reporting problems and terminating the lease was efficiently managed and always dealt with promptly. Thanks again for your help.

This enabled the marketing to be ready for potential viewings which lead to a lot of interest and a tenant being found quickly with all the reference checks being carried out.
