GoogleOur sale was complicated but James persisted with the complexities and nursed all involved parties in the buying chain along where many would have given up. Full marks for effort. One of the main learning points for ourselves is the importance, in a slow and tricky market, of the role of the estate agent outside of the traditional roles, particularly in chasing solicitors to ensure that monies are in place at exchange and completion. This is a changing world and we all need to change with it.

GoogleIn a difficult sales market (Autumn 2018) for 7 bedroom houses over 6 figures in value, KF Guildford, through James Ackerley and Morten Boardman gave us realistic guide price to aim for AND a short to medium term strategy to create pricing tension (if multiple interests occurred) which should maximise the value received, even above guide price. The fee structure agreed also incentivesed KF to maximise the price achieved. After 8 weeks of marketing, and in excess of 20 viewings, we had two serious interested parties who bid against each other to maximise the price we obtained. One was in a chain, the other a cash buyer, who whilst not the highest bidder, we accepted due to certainty and ability to exchange in 2-3 weeks. By far the best sales agent in Guildford our opinion. Great brochure photos, very broad coverage, both local, central London and international, and strong communication with the client. Reliable advice all along the way, which stood up to some very heavy questioning!!! Thanks James and Morten an excellent job, well done, in a very challenging environment. 10/10.

GoogleThe sale of the family home, after 30 years, was something I was not looking forward to after the passing of my wife. I first contacted James Ackerley over a year ago, to sound him out on possibilities, and realised during the conversation that I was not emotionally ready at that time to sell. James gave me sound advice though ,with absolutely no pressure, and left matters with me. A year later I was ready and although it was perhaps not the best of times, being September 2018 with the Brexit debate raging, I asked for the property to be placed on the market. James and his team were very pro-active which led to a sale being agreed in October and completion at the end of November. I cannot thank James , Morten and the rest of his team enough for the sympathetic, straightforward and professional way that they managed and achieved a sale for me. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Tim Harriss and the other KF people took us effortlessly through the whole process, constantly keeping us informed at every viewing, and never flagging throughout 12 months of viewings until our house was sold. We never had any doubts that we were not with the best agent. Tim gave us a considered and realistic valuation, as opposed to a spiv's exaggerated estimate, and we sold within this range.
