GoogleClearly really good if you are the seller of a house but not if you’re the buyer. Unprofessional, unreliable and be assured than many things mentioned in the listing of the house are false advertising. Awful experience as a first time buyer, got our keys 3 weeks ago and I say that loosely. We got 1 set of keys between us and no key for the garage shutter, we know there was an owner and a renter of this house previously so 2 sets definitely exist. First were told they’d be in the house, they weren’t. We rang and they told us they would be sent out, nothing arrived after a week and a half. We rang again and they told us they would get in touch with the vender, we have been waiting a further week and a half without any communication. Not to mention how many things were wrong with the house, no lights in the kitchen worked (worked when we viewed the house) house description with a dishwasher (doesn’t work) please check every single thing if you plan to buy a house off them. Don’t have high hopes we’ll be able to get use of our shutter, or that anything in our garage would be safe since someone still has a key to it. Appalling

GoogleLaurie was brilliant during the purchase, and a couple of years later, the sale of our property. Is quick to get in touch with updates and grease the gears to get the sale completed as soon as possible. Whilst the property was let, Nicole was great in managing us, the tenants, and the property. Empathetic, quick to get in touch, and effective, I would recommend the John Minnis Comber office to anyone.

I put my house on the market just before Christmas, honestly expecting very little to happen but John Minnis had viewings booked from the first week on the market. The house completed during the first week of February for 10k over the asking price and I couldn't be happier. The negotiations were handled well by Minnis' Holywood office and I was informed at all times. I noticed in the viewing schedule that there were a lot of single appointments, I like to see this as some agents will only book grouped viewings. The Minnis team were happy to go when the potential buyers wanted to visit rather than trying to corral them into sessions, you should look for this in an agent in my opinion. This was the 5th house John Minnis has sold for me and they all went well. I highly recommend this estate agent to anyone with a house to sell.

GoogleI have had two occasions to use John Minnis and found them very friendly efficient and competitive. I would recommend them to everyone who wish to sell their property. If I visited properties that were being sold by Minnis they did their utmost to accommodate my visits. They certainly come top of my list in the property market.

GoogleOver the years I have sold properties in Northern Ireland, Scotland and England and up until now I have had a very poor opinion of estate agents. However the service provide by John Minnis Comber branch was superb. From the outset they proved to be knowledgeable, proactive and approachable. They handled all aspects of the sale from advertising,hosting viewings and negotiating to liaising with solicitors in an efficient and professional manner and kept me fully informed on progress every step of the way. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Lorrie and the team at John Minnis Comber.

From the first phone call to the final sale, the service was everything we could have hoped for, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help with any queries, Laurie and his team at the Comber Office kept us informed and aware at every stage of our sale, and kept acting on our behalf all the way through, chasing up anything to make sure the sale was as smooth and as prompt as it could be. You will be in safe hands with them.

GoogleWe just rented our house via John Minnis agency. Initially all looked good but then, John Minnis contract electrician concluded that all electrical wiring are incorrect and require full house rewiring. This is for the house that we purchased from John Minnis just 5 years ago and all was up-to standard that time. After number of emails, electrician accepted to issue certificate based on fuse box and some sockets replacement. As he proceeded with the job he left mess behind him. The answer we received from John Minnis that this is normal....... Be warned and stay away. They're number of agents who could do a better customer service.
