GoogleMy daughter is trying to sell and buy through this company. Initially they appeared wonderful, but now things are further down the line, issues are arising. The valuer of John minnis failed to notice that there was a possible oil leak with the house being bought, and despite an email being sent to the company highlighting this issue and the fact this house could not be sold until it was determined if there was a leak, nobody came back to my daughter and in fact, the company have started to hassle them about why is completion so slow. John minnis company also seem to be siding more with the sellers of the house being bought, and it has become highlighted that certain info is also being passed to them without checking first with my daughter if these facts were true. The company also seems to have misinformed the family of the house being bought as to what price they could get for the house, and this in turn has made negotiations difficult as they have false expectations of an expected outcome. There has also been issues with the buyers of my daughter’s house, again seeming to come from the company not checking certain facts before passing on info, and giving my daughter dubious advice. This in turn led to the buyers coming back in and taking 10k of the selling price despite no houses in the area of the same size being priced at that. Despite it not being me doing to buying and selling I am seeing first hand what has gone on and I think that people need to be aware of these issues before considering using this company. I certainly wouldn’t use them.

GoogleJohn Minnis Estates were extremely professional. Their sold our property in three weeks after 12 visits. We also achieved our asking price which was higher than other estimates. GoogleI received extremely professional and friendly service from all members of the John Minnis team. From the initial valuation, I was impressed with John's knowledge and approachability and these are obviously attributes that he imparts to his staff because everyone I dealt with was patient, efficient and positive. Each member of the team were expert at liaising between vendor, solicitors, buyer and surveyors, keeping all parties happy and informed and gently nudging the sale process forward.

We find them helpful, professional and friendly They were excellent at keeping us updated and moving the deal forward to completion We would like to give Heather a special mention without her we could not have got things completed in a timely manner and she went above and beyond to ensure that things moved quickly when any potential delays arose .

GoogleJohn Minnis staff are typically very helpful, however we had a challenging experience dealing with the agent we were assigned. Unfortunately, her conduct was unprofessional and often rude. It appears she may be more accustomed to valuation work rather than direct client interaction, as what we perceive as lack of training and customer service skills was evident. Several instances during our communication left me feeling uncomfortable and actually upset, reaching a point where we no longer desired to proceed with the purchase of the house we had invested in. It was only after the agent ceased communication that the sale progressed smoothly and became significantly easier. We are thankful for our purchase and that the agent was part of making this happen. My main point is as buyers, you only wish to work with an effective and supportive team that listens when making such a large investment. And regrettably, this was not our entire experience.

GoogleI cannot recommend John Minnis East Belfast highly enough! I had 2 sales going on at the one time and neither was straight forward! The whole team were approachable, knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring at all times. Communication was easy and useful. I wouldn't use anyone else in future and have no hesitation in recommending John Minnis to anyone.
