GoogleGenerally estate agents are those people, along with used car dealers and politicians, that we love to hate, but all the team at Ideal Homes really are an exception to the rule. Over the last 12 months, they have smoothed out the process of buying a property in Cornwall, and in spite of various setbacks, they have helped to achieve a good result, which would have been impossible without their involvement. All estate agents promise to call you when a suitable property comes up....of course they never do....apart from Tean, Katie and Claire at Ideal Homes! They do call you, they do what they promise, they don't mess you about, and nothing is too much trouble. They deserve to do well...whether you are buying or selling ....use them with confidence. Many thanks and Best Wishes. Neville Wadsworth

GoogleThank you so much to Tean and a massive thank you especially goes to Claire in Sales Progression. Claire was amazingly supportive and so informative throughout the Conveyancing process. A service which is, in my opinion, second to none. Thank you Ideal Homes.

GoogleLooking at the previous five star reviews my experience with Ideal Homes, Torpoint, appears to be a temporary aberration rather than the norm, but I feel so frustrated by the way I was hoodwinked and sidelined, I feel compelled to be candid about my encounter with them. After agreeing to a "chain free, cash sale" back in March, I waited three months only to be told that someone had pulled out of the "chain". I discovered there were actually four in the chain but the agency kept this to itself because it sought to benefit from all four transactions. It was handling every sale in the chain! I would never have opted for this buyer when there were better options on the table. OK, they found another buyer at the bottom of the chain but I was advised to drop my sale price by £25K in order to secure the purchase. Seven months later and somewhat poorer and furious with their reluctance to freely communicate with me, the sale is now complete. This sale was manipulated solely for the agency's pecuniary advantage.

GooglePathetic estate agent. We worked with Yusuf who first of all ignored all calls regarding the tenancy agreement and associated matters with our chosen flat. We were then due to move into the flat and were then told 5 days before our move-in date it was not possible to move in. We were left homeless and had to get expensive temporary accommodation. I would highly recommend avoiding them.

Dear Sharmillan, Thank you for your review and comments. Firstly, i can understand your frustration, this didn't work out both me or you expected it to. I didn't ignore anyone's calls, we were constantly in touch with your friend Stacey and asked her to relay the details of our conversations back to you. I can only apologise that you weren't able to move in as the current tenant (at that time) decided not to move out and wanted to continue with her tenancy and the landlord had agreed therefore there wasn't much i could do i'm afraid. Your deposit was refunded immediately and i was calling all the agents in the area myself to see if i could help you with finding another place to move into but didn't have much luck. I hope you have now managed to find a new home and have settled in? Best wishes, Yusuf

GoogleWe contacted the Ideal Homes office to discuss putting our house on the market and the service from this point on was amazing. From the first visit by Craig to take pictures and discuss description, to the professional and high number of viewings delivered by Claire and Tean it was an amazing service. Once sold the speed at which Stu got the paperwork out and Claire then continued the service chasing the solicitors to get the paperwork done. Thank you to the whole team for making the whole process so easy. We can't recommend you enough and it's great that even though you are so busy the personal touch for your customers is still so high on your priority list.
