Howkins & Harrison's Duston office were the letting agent I had the pleasure of dealing with last year, when renting a property to be closer to my family in Northampton. As a landlord myself letting properties in Suffolk, I have previous experience of dealing with letting agents, who have not always provided the service I would have liked. Being a tenant in this instance I could not fault Howkins & Harrison's attention to detail and particularly Jamie's expertise in steering me through the application process. As a prospective tenant I was given all the information required to proceed with my application in a speedy and easy manner, especially as the referencing is most efficiently done in-house. Once settled in my new home, a three-monthly inspection was carried out by Vanessa, again with a useful information letter asking me to mention any problem that might need attention. When I unfortunately left the property to return to Suffolk, I was given clear instructions as to what was required of me, and following these ensured I received my deposit back in full within a few days of departure, together with a letter of thanks on how nicely I had left the property for the next tenant. If only there were more letting agents like Howkins & Harrison!!!

My recently widowed mother sold our family home of 47 years with the very able assistance of David Clarke from Howkins and Harrison, Northampton. Having bought and sold houses myself, many times, I can honestly say that the service we received from David was vastly superior and worth every penny. Having been recently widowed and not familiar with the process of moving home, my mum needed extra help and a ton of understanding. David did not falter, whilst remaining good humoured through out. The sale went through very quickly, within a week, and the after sales care was exemplary. Mum has now moved to Wiltshire and is settling in well. Thank you, David, from both of us. I would not hesitate to recommend Howkins and Harrison to anyone.

Chris and Mike recently helped me to purchase a cottage in Ladbroke, Warwickshire. From the first phone call in November, till the final handing over the keys in May (a long time, not due to them!!!), they were on hand to help with all of my enquiries and were able to get me into the property whenever I needed. A great, friendly and professional team. Always willing to listen and share their advice. We bought our house from Howkins and Harrison in 2012. After getting to know Chris and liking his honesty and candid way of working, and Nicola who had the patience of a saint having showed us round the property three times, we didn't think twice about who to use when it came to selling it again after we'd finished the renovation in 2016. Their rates are competitive and we never felt under pressure or harassed to get things closed out to timescales that suited them, which sadly we have experienced several times in the past with other estate agents. We felt welcomed by the whole team whenever we went in to the office and when we decided to sell were really pleased to find out that Julie had joined the team from another agent which really complemented the great service we got from both Chris and Nicola. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I recently sold two properties with Howkins and Harrison Rugby and received an excellent service via Chris Ollernshaw whom is a very driven and proactive agent with an excellent knowledge of his local property market. I was kept fully up to date throughout the sales process and Chris also assisted in chasing Solicitors to keep things moving from initial instructions through to completion. We have many properties and I rarely take the time to write a review, but in this case 5 stars is very well deserved. We have twice used Howkins & Harrison to sell our home. On both occasions we had a buyer in super quick time. Also on both occasions we dealt directly with Jenny from the Daventry office. Jenny is extremely easy to work with and totally professional in her work. We also purchased our new home through Howkins and therefore met and spoke to several other members of the team. They were all knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I don't intend moving again any time soon, but if the need rises, then Howkins & Harrison will be the only phone call I make.
