I was initially interested in purchasing a property marketed by H&H Daventry, and was advised that selling my own home with H&H would help motivate them to progress my purchase... This gave me some initial red flags, but I decided regardless to give their Northampton branch the opportunity to market my property.

GoogleWe just wanted to say a massive thank you to Hawkins and Harrison, especially Jackie, for sticking with us over the last two years. We’ve been trying to buy a house for what feels like forever, with plenty of ups and downs along the way. After a long and sometimes stressful journey, especially a very uncertain final week, we finally moved into our new home last week. Jackie did absolutely everything she could to make it happen, and we truly couldn’t have asked for more. Her dedication, support, and persistence made all the difference. GoogleWe tried to rent a house together as brothers, and despite making it clear we are family, not unrelated sharers, the letting agent refused to take our details or consider us as joint tenants, saying they don’t allow sharers. It’s misleading and unprofessional to treat two siblings as “sharers” when UK housing definitions generally consider family members living together as one household. This left us confused and unable to progress our rental search. The agent gave no clear, lawful reason, just repeated refusal to engage properly. If you’re a family looking for a place together, be aware that this agency may misapply its own policies and potentially misinterpret basic housing law. I do not recommend them based on this experience.
