Our house move didn't go smoothly due to issues elsewhere in the chain, but all of the Howkins team did a brilliant job at updating us and doing everything they could to help, contacting solicitors etc. even at such a busy time in the housing market. I would highly recommend them, especially compared to other agents we encountered in Ashby who were clearly working in their own interests rather than doing the best by their client. I had a previous great purchase experience with the ever reliable Jackie, but this time it was Matt that was the star of my selling experience. From valuation, through marketing to endlessly chasing up those oh so frustrating solicitors (you know who you are), H&H in general and Matt in particular really are a cut above. I came to think of Matt as more of a project manager than an agent as he was that present throughout. From the word go Matt listened to what we wanted, then worked hard to execute it and our house was on the market and sold within less than a week. His excellent explanation of the service and non aggressive sales style convinced us to list with them even though we already had a quote we were happy to go with and we are thrilled we did. Jackie has helped us to follow the sale and the purchase through brilliantly and has been an absolute pleasure to deal with too. GoogleBrilliant experience buying a property from Howkins & Harrison. From the start in July/August 2021 Andrew and Matt were very accommodating allowing us to carry out weekend & lunchtime viewings always arriving on time and full of all the information about the properties and the local area. Once our offer was accepted Jackie was key to our communications with our solicitor. Jackie was able to get hold of them when no one else could and kept the wheels moving when our own selling agent went slack, until our completion in December. We are very happy to have moved in before Christmas and couldn't have dealt with a better estate agent. I would recommend that anyone selling their property use H&H.

GoogleEvie and Javed was amazing and the 4 stars is completely for them! Landlord sold our property and Evie helped with finding another one, ensuring ourselves and 3 children had somewhere to call home. Having said this, I would wish that the property inspectors held the same standards when checking out a property as when conducting the inventory. Some considerations for the fact that houses are to be lived in would have been nice and the fact the property is a new build as when it’s an older property that gets noted. This definitely tarnished our experience. Unless you are going to repaint the whole property before you leave it you may as well say bye to your deposit.

GoogleJamie at Howkins was extremely helpful when it came to selling my home. There were some twists along the way, but he kept me updated with every new development. He was always keen to do the legwork to try and push things along and get everything sorted by any deadlines that needed to be met, and all with a great customer service manner.
