GoogleI have employed Horton and Garton as both letting agents and selling agents of my property in Hammersmith and can not recommend them highly enough in both departments. Everyone I dealt with was helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly proactive in ensuring lines of communication were maintained and that I was updated at all times.

GoogleI find John a pleasure to deal with, they are real people. In a real office, the name of the office is of a REAL person there. I have noticed a lot of agencies make up English sounding names, but nobody with those names actually works there! Very good to deal with, I highly recommend them...

GoogleI cannot recommend Horton and Garton highly enough both for sales and lettings. I have known John Horton for over a decade and from the first time I met him I knew he was that very, very rare thing, a trustworthy estate agent. Martin Clements is also fantastic, he has just helped me sell my flat and went beyond the call of duty to ensure the sale went smoothly, successfully navigating some really stressful issues which were out of our control. I have also used Horton and Garton as letting agents, they have always found excellent tenants and managed the property brilliantly. I have had many bad experiences with other agents locally and around the country. In the decade I have used Horton and Garton they have maintained their excellent service and always been friendly and helpful and great to deal with, they really are exceptional. I wouldn't use anyone else.

GoogleI had heard some very good feedback from my brother who lives in W6 and bought his last property through Horton & Garton. I decided to contact Martin and John for my property purchase in Brackenbury village. Their service is impeccable, combining a great knowledge of the market dynamics with super helpful advice which enabled me to buy the exact property I was looking for in a very sought-after area. Knowing the market well is key and they showed a great knowledge of the area and the sellers they represent. We were also successful, with their help, to get from offer accepted to exchange and completion in less than 2.5 weeks which was amazing! I cannot recommend Horton & Garton strongly enough. I definitely intend to use them again when I am ready to sell a property again!

GoogleI have worked with Horton and Garton both as a first time landlord and as a seller of property. In the first instance they guided me through all the aspects of being a landlord and managed the property whilst i lived 100 miles away. Throughout the five years Horton and Garton dealt with all the unforeseen issues that arose and dealt with the property and financial side of things impeccably. They also vetted all my tenants to ensure the flat was lived in by trustworthy, reliable people. When i decided to sell the flat, they used both their knowledge of the market and negotiation skills to get me the best possible price. Other estate agents suggested that they could get more for me - but looking on Rightmove it was those estate agent's properties that would stay on longest, with no sale due to overprice. With their local knowledge, independence, enthusiasm all bounded by good common sense I'd recommend H&G to anyone looking to rent, let, sell or buy a property.
Sam, I remember showing you Mel and the flat when you bought the property back in 2002 I remember saying that once you have bought the flat (years later) you will have forgotten about having to pay above the asking price and I was proved right. My advice then was if this road is good enough for your estate agent to live on then its good enough for you to be buying on!. GoogleI am only to happy to endorse others praise about the team at H and G. They have let out my Hammersmith flat for more than 5 years in an excellently efficient manner which was particularly reassuring to me as I was living in S Africa and then more recently Albania and therefore meant that I was relying on them heavily tthan had I been in the UK The same applies to the manner they have just sold the flat. Clearly proactive at all times,, Martin secured a very satisfactory sale. I endorsed H and G without hesitation for their recent well deserved Hammersmith business award and I would strongly recommend their services. Estate agents do not always get the best press, but in H and G's case they deserve to be praised
