Paul & his team absolutely stand out about the crowd. Paul sold me my first ever home in Chiswick and I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, forthcoming, straight-talking and downright great, kind guy to guide me on my path to home ownership. Paul met me and introduced me to the property that would become my home - having grasped so quickly what would suit me. He helped me prepare an offer and do everything he could in his power to help me get the property while being fair with the owner. Others have mentioned here but his comms are second to none and his upbeat personality makes a very special experience that much more exciting. He also recommended a great lawyer and builder. We have just sold our house using Horton & Garton and the experience was remarkably pain free. Paul is a rare breed indeed amongst his profession. He is courteous and professional but what stood out was his honesty and energy. He had frank conversations with us at the beginning of the process about price and strategy and seemed to have a clear plan of how to get the property sold. Paul’s energy and enthusiasm throughout the whole sale was palpable. I would say what makes Paul stand out is that is that he didn’t just show the house he enthusiastically sold all of its attributes.

Paul goes above and beyond all expectations of customer service. I would go as far to say that it's the best customer service I have ever received in any industry. I doubt that there is a better estate agent in England. Paul knows his stuff and knows people. He managed to close a deal on my property a few days before lock down. He can match sellers to buyers, is incredibly responsive, amiable and goes the extra mile. He was even willing to make an hours drive to my house in the burbs to pick up keys when i couldn't drop them. Nothing is too much for Paul. He closes the deal with happy customers on both sides. I have recently completed a purchase of my first property, Phil Combes was the agent with whom I dealt with and I just wanted to drop you a note to say how helpful and knowledgeable he was. With my parents being guarantors on the property, he fully included them and was available at any time for them which was very helpful as they are not from London so had to travel. He was incredibly professional yet personable. He has an incredible knowledge of the area and even took myself and my parents on two separate occasions around the area to point out all the local restaurants and pubs in the Brackenbury village area, as well as, providing interesting facts such as 'the original Thomas Cook' and 'London's narrowest house'. Really happy with the service we received from H&G. We trusted their advice to price the property competitively to generate interest - interest which overwhelmed us and resulted in many offers over asking from which we took the best - and all agreed within 2 weeks of the property going on the market. With a one year old and in a one bed flat, this was exceptional considering how some overly priced properties languish and are then perceived as "damaged goods". I was apartment hunting back in April/May 2019, the whole process was tiring and quite demotivating. I found a property advertised by Horton and Garton, when I went to view it, it was lovely, and basically what was described in the advert. We placed an offer for it and were luckily accepted.
