Holden Copley couldn't have done more for me as a first time buyer. The process for the viewings was fast and fair, and when it was confirmed that our offer was accepted we were introduced to Karen who was our Sales Progressor. Karen was always willing to answer any questions I had and even explained the regular processes to someone like myself who didn't have a single clue what he was doing. My first solicitors were horrendous, and Karen was speaking between both the seller and our own solicitors to help the sale go through. After my solicitors not responding for over 5 weeks, Karen helped me source another solicitor who were better. Karen was keeping in contact to let me know every step of the way and what was happening with the seller, including being the middle person between us and the seller, and solicitors. Without Karen's help, I'm sure the sale wouldn't have gone as smooth or at all. I would highly recommend Holden Copley, and if you have the pleasure to speak to Karen you can be assured that you are in good hands. Thanks again Karen!

We recently bought a house that was being sold using HoldenCopley as the estate agents and without them, I don't think our purchase would have gone through. From first setting up this viewing (as well as multiple others in the area), they were always available whenever we rang, and were available for call backs in very good time. We were looked after well, with our questions being answered and the excitement of our first house purchase also being reflected back to us. When we had our offer accepted, our house progression was passed to Sophie Bellaby, who was personally responsible in making sure our chain didn't collapse. Throughout the entire process, she was a guiding light, and with an awful, awful solicitor on our side, she was the only one to give us any transparency within our own purchase and along the rest of the chain. We had the most difficult time with our solicitor, and it was a result of Sophie's hard work which helped us push this through and avoided us losing the house at the very last minute - and in time for the stamp duty holiday. I can't thank her enough, because without her and her transparency (and having someone to call when it was all too much), I really don't know how we would have coped with the anxiety of the solicitor. Thank you HoldenCopley for making our first house purchase what it should have been from the start, we are now truly enjoying being first-time buyers in our wonderful new home. PS - We fully intend to bring cake in once we've settled in enough to find out way appropriately around the kitchen!

We viewed a property in October with a young gentleman called George Rudd. It was our first property we had viewed and it turned out it wasn’t for us. Holden Copley are the worse estate agent I've ever used. They "over promise and under deliver" on a epic scale. I went with them because their online marketing information, photographs and video tours are very good, and mine are. I was unfortunately being dealt with by the Hucknall branch and they would be described as incompetent as best. I was asked twice if I wanted a For Sale and twice I told them yes, I never had a board erected. They continually sent me details for properties they were selling that did not meet my requirements. They claimed they had a large database of buyers looking for properties like mine in my area. I never saw any evidence of this. After 4 days, the branch manager advised me to reduce the price by £10k so that "we can generate more interest". After 4 days!!! Incidentally three other local estate agents valued the property at the same price. After making a compliant and threatening to terminate my contract, my account was taken over by their Regional Manager. Things improved marginally and I did start getting some viewings arranged. However, there where no offers forthcoming because I believe that the Sales Negotiators did not have enough knowledge about my property or the local area. They over sell their capabilities. They do not have a sufficiently large presence in my area to generate enough demand. In 2 months they were only able to arrange 10 viewings on my property. They do not accept criticism and any complaints levelled at them are dismissed with thinly veiled excuses. In my case, Holden Copley gave up and offered to release me from my contract. Which I accepted.

In that time, we have never once managed to speak to a single person at Holden Copley. We have never gotten a reply. We have never gotten anything other than automated responses. After two local estate agents were unsuccessful in finding us suitable tenants for our property in Awsworth, we approached Holden Copley. They immediately got to work arranging a couple of open days for prospective tenants to view the house. Subsequently, we were able to let the house for a good rental income. Unlike the first estate agent we registered with, HC were realistic from the outset about the rent we could acquire, they produced a thorough inventory as part of the £499 total cost for the find a tenant service - much cheaper overall than the other agents we registered with. Luke, Layla and Kerry were professional, extremely knowledgeable and great to communicate with. Next time we won’t waste our time using agents who promise so much but fail to deliver.
