Alex Milne and Mike Orbell of Hockeys were enormously kind and considerate to me, an ageing and very nervous first time buyer. They were always quick to respond, often in detail, to my enquiries, and kept information flowing to me as necessary. Alex did a grand job of representing the house without applying pressure. I am very pleased with the result and think myself fortunate to have been dealing with Hockeys on this occasion.

GoogleAlex has been nothing but helpful with our process of finding us our new house and helping selling ours. He has been in in constant contact with the process on both. With any questions or query I have had, he has been prompt in response. Joe came and took the photos of our house and he was wonderful with the requests I had with the pictures and coming back to take a few more on others that I wanted to change. Both of these hockeys employees are excellent. A very happy client.

This was our first experience using an estate agent to sell. We were very happy with the service we received. The team obviously knew the market, they were courteous and professional at all times. At the beginning of the process Hockeys told me that they would keep me informed along the way, and they did. Should I need to use an estate agent again I would have no hesitation in going straight back to Hockeys.

Bought and sold our house through Hockeys. I was instantly impressed with their approach from the moment I met Jeremy to discuss the support they would provide in selling and promoting the house. They truly went above and beyond any experience I have had with previous house sales with a clear marketing strategy and quickly had multiple viewings set up on the property.. The house was sold within a week of being on the market. Through the process of selling my home and the purchase (through Hockeys) of my new home, Joseph was continuously active in managing the chain to completion despite some rather frustrating challenges at the last minute with exchange & completion. Without his support, there would have been significant delays. Thanks to the team at Hockeys for all their efforts in this process.

From valuation to completion, Jeremy and Alex worked tirelessly to ensure we were kept up to date, matched our house to the perfect buyer and found a lovely new home for our growing family. FacebookWe bought our new home using Hockeys and Alex was our agent. We were kept informed throughout the process and kept updated on a regular basis, the process was quick. Even with the Christmas holidays during our purchase we managed to go from offer to completion in under 11 weeks. Hockeys remained professional even when our sellers became very pushy and difficult and it became clear that certain information had not been disclosed to them which had a significant impact on our purchase. Despite all this they got it done and were able to move to our new house.

They were realistic about the valuation, are reasonably priced, and each member of the team I had contact with (mainly Joe and Jeremy) was friendly and helpful. They worked hard to find a buyer and to get a good price for me, and were helpful if I had any practical queries about the process or tradesmen etc.

I recently used Hockeys to buy my first home and couldn’t fault the service they provided. Jeremy arranged a second viewing on the property I bought at very short notice and did all he could to accommodate the limited times I was available. When I put in the offer, they hadn’t heard if it had been accepted but still telephoned so that I was kept in the loop and knew when to expect an answer.After the offer was accepted, Alex went out of his way to ensure that I was kept well-informed and nothing seemed too much trouble. When I struggled to get hold of solicitors or had questions which were left unanswered, he contacted on my behalf and any issues were usually resolved the same day. His positive attitude and reassurance was very much appreciated! I can’t thank Alex and the team at Hockey’s enough for all their efforts throughout my purchase. Without a doubt they went ‘above & beyond’ & I would certainly recommend to others. Thank you Hockeys!
