Obstructive in the sale of our property. During said sale, it also came to light the Buildings (which they manage) Fire Safety Certificate was 9 years old. In a Post-Grenfell world, this is abhorrent. Their response to this was equally careless and remorseless. We ensured the residents were left fully aware. The Property Management Accountant continues to invoice us for the property, as recently as March 2021, despite our relinquishment of legal ownership in December 2020. We will be avoiding all future dealings with Hilbery Chaplin like the plague.

My parents used this joke of an agency to sell their house. Did nothing untill they handed in their notice after receiving barely any arranged visits over 10 weeks.. 1 day before the contract ceased they amazingly found someone.. no memorandum of sales was issued and the agent led them on for 2 months. After this the agency kept attending the house and even sent around the buyer who they were waiting on weeks on weeks to try and strong arm them into a sale. Parents ended up going with another agency (who they got an offer within 4 days) and they said that they wouldn't be stung with 2 lots of agency fees when clearly there are in contract.. do not touch or you will regret. I welcome a response from them...

Truly excellent service from beginning to end. Everyone carried out their part of the process, including arranging agents to host viewings, efficiently and helpfully when needed. Diane, Carole, Bobby and Carolyn were all excellent. The personal client site was very useful and allowed me to keep tabs on events and arrangement of and feedback from viewings.
