When we moved to the UK from Sri Lanka back in 2022, we were fortunate to be introduced to Micheal from the Henry Wiltshire lettings team. Micheal showed us a property that wasn’t yet listed on the market, and he was absolutely right that we would love it. From that very first viewing through to the renting process, and during the three and a half years we lived in the property, the entire Henry Wiltshire team was amazing. The property management team, in particular, was always responsive and helpful, promptly attending to any queries or issues and making our stay a truly pleasant one. When it came time to move out, I had often heard that this is when problems usually start. But with Henry Wiltshire, there were none. They were clear, professional, and transparent about the entire process, which made things easy and stress-free for both parties. Having viewed other properties in the area and spoken to friends about their experiences with different agents, I can confidently say that with Henry Wiltshire, all you need to decide is whether you like the property, because you can rest assured the agents are excellent. Highly recommended!

I recently rented this property and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. The tenancy agreement clearly stated two parking spaces, but only one allocated space was provided, with the second being a guest space not in sight of the property, which raises both safety and insurance concerns. From move-in day, I was not provided with the rear garden key, and after almost a month, I still cannot access it to dispose of rubbish and food waste. The bins were already half full when I moved in, causing missed collections and significant inconvenience. Despite contacting the agent and landlord multiple times, the issues with parking and the rear gate have not been fully resolved. While the landlord offered to terminate the contract without penalty, the overall handling of this tenancy has been unsatisfactory. I hope future tenants are aware of these issues before renting.

I am sorry that you felt compelled to leave a poor review despite our efforts to resolve the issues you have raised. As explained in our email correspondence, the landlord misplaced the key to the garden gate however we have arranged the lock to be replaced, and the bin cleared before it became an issue for you. The landlord offered you the option to be released from the tenancy if you were unhappy with the parking arrangements. We have been in touch with you throughout to resolve these issues for you as quickly as possible, but we can only act upon our landlord’s instructions, and this has been explained to you. We can only apologise that you have felt frustrated with these matters, but we have done everything we can to assist and resolve them for you.

Never leave reviews but felt inclined to with the bad service I received. The man that showed me round the property was quite standoffish and made me feel quite uncomfortable in the viewing. I ended up putting a written offer in on the property that they wanted to be filled within a few weeks and never heard back. Didn't get an offer acknowledgment. When I contacted them 3 days later they said the landlord hadn't come back and then again, I contacted them a week later to say they hadn't heard anything. Withdrew my offer on a place I really liked as I wouldn't want them managing the property for me, if I were to be accepted if this is how they treat potential clients.

We are sorry that you felt the need to leave this review, upon investigating we can see that you viewed the property on the 4th March and submitted your offer on 5th March to which an acknowledgement was sent on the same day to advise that your offer had been submitted to the landlord and we were awaiting their response as they were overseas. I am sorry if you did not receive that email, it may have gone into your junk mailbox. When you called the office on 7th March you were informed that the landlord had not responded yet and you would be contacted as soon as they came back to us. The landlord subsequently responded and accepted an alternative offer which was received on the same day as yours, but you had already retracted your offer. We are sorry that you feel that you did not receive a good service from us, as you can see from our 5 star reviews, we endeavour to provide the best possible service to our customers and believe that we communicated to you in good time. We wish you all the best with your search for a property.
