GoogleJoshua and his team at Helliwell went above and beyond in the process of helping us find the property that matched our needs and desires. Throughout the duration they were always quick to respond and helped with our many questions. Having dealt with 'stereotypical' estate agents in the past it was a very different experience working with Joshua. He was always generous with his time and he provided realistic and honest answers. Helliwell is a perfect example of why using a smaller, independent agent who not only knows the local area but has a vested interest in the community leads to beneficial results for all parties. From a buyers point of view I would highly recommend using Helliwell for a property search in and around Ealing, but we also witness the quality service that they provided for the vendor.

GoogleBought and sold our properties through Helliwell at the same time and they made the whole process really smooth. Josh, Simon and Josephine are super nice and helpful and went the extra mile, not only for us but for everyone in our chain they were dealing with. They were honest, reasonably priced and contact was great. They were quick to reply and deal with issues and they always kept us all in the loop. They also helped us establish friendly relationships with both our seller and buyer which made the actual moving process very smooth for us all. I would thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleIn the market to rent a two bed property and in the course, contacted several estate agents. I have to say Helliwell & Co is the most professional and efficient agency amongst the agents. Courteous, great communication and punctuality on viewing. Not forgetting the agent, Ms Anna Thirukeswaran, who handled the viewing. Punctual, courteous, calm approach and answered all my questions. Overall, one of the best estate agencies in my search for accommodation in Ealing area. Thank you.

GoogleJust sold our buy to let property with Helliwell and im very please we went with Helliwell, a small family run business and not one of the larger estate agents in Ealing. The team at Helliwell were really good to work with, from informing us of viewings in advance, liasing with our tenants and helping decide which buyer would be the best match when we had offers. They demonstated excellent professionalism and knowledge of the area which is something you want when selling a house. When it came to the valuation Josh was bang on the money (pun intended!) and this is good! Its best to set realistic expectations and not having to reduce the value during the sale (never a good idea). A big thank you to Jose, Simon and Josh at Helliwells!

GoogleTotally unprofessional and rude. Would give 0 stars if I could. Went for a viewing on Sep 16, placed an offer same day and was told I'd hear back by the following Monday - which I didn't. I thought this was fair enough as they're probably busy or listening to other offers that may have came in a few days later. I ring later that week and I'm told there's no updates yet as the landlord is weighing up the offers. I then receive a call on Sep 25 from the agency saying that they had accepted our offer, and to await a link to pay the holding deposit and proceed with further checks etc. As a result I turned down proceeding further with alternate properties which are now no longer available… I didn't hear back for a few days (as the agent I was dealing with apparently wasn't available and no one else had any info as to what was happening, when I rang to enquire). I ring again on Sep 29 to find out that apparently our offer was no longer accepted - I wasn’t offered any explanation or apology as to what happened and was hung up on. Not only was I failed to be kept in the loop, but I was either lied to about my offer being accepted or I was played off against another bidder - in which case I was still lied to. Avoid at all costs.

Google(Updating my review 5 years later) I bought my property through Helliwell 5 year ago, and now I’ve sold it through them at the asking price! This is a gem of a family-run estate agent. I can’t thank them enough particularly to Alistair and Josie! Highly recommend working with them! **** Just picked up the keys of our new property which we managed to buy through Helliwell & Co. I can’t recommend them more highly! Joshua and his team have been superb throughout the whole process, knowledgeable, responsive and honest! They even went above and beyond in providing guidance given we were first time-buyers. Many thanks Joshua!

GoogleWarning to anyone looking to rent with Helliwell. We took the first viewing possible for a flat to rent, and immediately sent in an offer over the asking price. Two days later and we followed up to see if the landlord wanted to accept our offer, when the agent informed us they were holding our offer till the following day so they could do multiple more viewings and send all offers off in one go. I highly suspect they used our offer to encourage other potential tenants to offer more than us, as this had been done to us at a previous viewing with Helliwell.
