Helliwell's were amazing in valuing and selling our flat. We had an awful experience with a local agent where we removed our flat from the market, met lots more agents & picked Helliwell after how great Joshua was. Post this they were professional, always answered calls, responded to emails quickly and got us a great offer on our flat. Charlie & Joshua both were great in selling the flat & Amy was amazing with the aftercare. I recently sold my property thru Helliwell. I would highly recommend them. Very professional, at the same time quite friendly and helpful. My interactions were with Joshua during the earlier stages, and with Amy for the sales progression stage. Both were very helpful. Joshua and his team at Helliwell went above and beyond in the process of helping us find the property that matched our needs and desires. Throughout the duration they were always quick to respond and helped with our many questions. Having dealt with 'stereotypical' estate agents in the past it was a very different experience working with Joshua. He was always generous with his time and he provided realistic and honest answers. Just sold our buy to let property with Helliwell and im very please we went with Helliwell, a small family run business and not one of the larger estate agents in Ealing. The team at Helliwell were really good to work with, from informing us of viewings in advance, liasing with our tenants and helping decide which buyer would be the best match when we had offers. They demonstated excellent professionalism and knowledge of the area which is something you want when selling a house. When it came to the valuation Josh was bang on the money (pun intended!) and this is good! Its best to set realistic expectations and not having to reduce the value during the sale (never a good idea). A big thank you to Jose, Simon and Josh at Helliwells!

After a very average experience with a local agent, we decided to give Helliwell a try even though they seemed to be more focused on properties in central Ealing whereas our properties are in the western part of Ealing. Thank goodness we did. In a very flat market indeed Helliwell sold two flats for us through a combination of creative thinking, determination and good old fashioned (and honest) salesmanship. I cannot recommend Marco and Josh Helliwell too highly and also the wonderful Anna who manages the office and kept us fully on top of viewings and other communication.

Totally unprofessional and rude. Would give 0 stars if I could. Went for a viewing on Sep 16, placed an offer same day and was told I'd hear back by the following Monday - which I didn't. I thought this was fair enough as they're probably busy or listening to other offers that may have came in a few days later. I ring later that week and I'm told there's no updates yet as the landlord is weighing up the offers. I then receive a call on Sep 25 from the agency saying that they had accepted our offer, and to await a link to pay the holding deposit and proceed with further checks etc. As a result I turned down proceeding further with alternate properties which are now no longer available… I didn't hear back for a few days (as the agent I was dealing with apparently wasn't available and no one else had any info as to what was happening, when I rang to enquire). I ring again on Sep 29 to find out that apparently our offer was no longer accepted - I wasn’t offered any explanation or apology as to what happened and was hung up on. Not only was I failed to be kept in the loop, but I was either lied to about my offer being accepted or I was played off against another bidder - in which case I was still lied to. Avoid at all costs.
