GoogleWorst agents I’ve ever used and most certainly the worst property management division I’ve ever come across. They never respond, they only take your money and give you zero service. They certainly don’t have your best interest at heart. Please watch out if you are buying anything from them. They sell properties knowing very well the defects involved but hide it. They need to be investigated by the regulators.
We apologise if the Property Management service has not met your expectations. Communication between all parties is of course crucial, and we have a number of documented instances of where we have contacted you throughout the tenancy. GoogleI met with Hayley short from Hawes and Co earlier in February. I found her to be extremely professional and knowledgeable on the Wimbledon area. I arrived late to our meeting and she still accommodated the viewing, was happy to answer all my questions on the property.

GoogleI have rent out a bed room flat with Hawes&co almost 2 years ago where I lived on my own. I have signed a 2 year contract with a 1 year break clause. During that time I have had issues with the neighbours which have been left unresolved so the situation has become progressively worse week on week. I was also recovering after my surgery. The Hawes & Co branch has been fully aware of my situation from the start of my tenancy and have not done anything to help resolve the issue. I was forced to move out on as the level of disturbance had become unbearable. In the beginning I have been asked to pay an extra money as I was in breach of my contract to cover remaining months beforehand the end of my tenancy. I've gone through a massive fight and I hope nobody has to go through the same as me. It was horrible and extremely stressful

Right from the beginning - realistic valuation, good marketing, negotiation between buyers, and then navigating the usual stumbling blocks through to exchange and completion - Paul was calm and transparent providing fair advice. He was responsive and empathetic (not something we can say about some of their direct competitors).

GoogleOutstanding! We have used Hawes& Co, Wimbledon branch, to sell our flat and buy our onward property, and we couldn’t have picked a better agent. Paul Mannell, in particular, was impeccable; personable and friendly, honest, knowledgeable, diligent, highly responsive and helpful, a true professional. He provided seamless communication through the usual ups and downs of the house selling/buying journey, and was always on hand to offer calm, objective advice and give realistic solutions- even at times when things, as they sometimes do, got complicated and convoluted. He saw us through being in the middle of a tangled chain to successfully completing on our sale and purchase, and has been the voice of reason during a rather stressful process indeed. We were in a chain and there were many instances where he successfully coordinated all of us (including our solicitors) and managed each of us through the more stressful parts of buying a house. I would definitely recommend working with Hawes. Sarah was very responsive, helpful and most importantly, reasonable and practical in the negotiations process. Throughout the whole process, I felt that she was honest and acted with integrity. In the end, we were very happy with our deal, and have since asked Hawes to manage the property for us as a letting until we can move into our new home in the future.

I have found my experience of selling my house through Hawes & Co. excellent from start to finish. Damian Anderson who looked after the sale of my home was able to spot an opportunity in the market that the other estate agents I met could not. He worked diligently to find the right person to buy my house at the right price. He took time to give simple the sound advice in particular when managing the chain was tricky.
