Great experience from a great team!

Going to review Harron Homes’ properties yesterday was an amazing experience. The friendliness of the sales agents on duty Jeanette (Chesterfield) and the other agent at Temple Normanton was amazing. Shipley Lakeside is a unique location. Both Charlotte and Amanda were welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about the development and the surrounding area. We hadn't made an appointment when we visited today and they found time to answer our questions and to help us settle on a house type. We've visited other developments in the local area and their teams weren't a patch on Charlotte and Amanda.

Not all house builders are the same!!!!

Currently buying a house with another developer who is building in Hasland. We are doing an assisted sale and are having a terrible experience due to pressure they are applying with time frames. Frustrated we decided to explore other options. Went the see Matt at Thorpe Meadows to discuss options and the difference in attitude is chalk and cheese. Matt is incredibly honest, very accommodating and above anything a nice guy. If we don’t sell our house in the “desired” time frame deemed reasonable by the other house builder I will be buying a Birtkwith from Matt (and my gut tell me me I will 99.9% sure I will be)Thanks for your help Matt

Using their part exchange scheme has been quite intense with a lot of activity at the early stages but since then, it's been great. Jeanett has been really helpful throughout, and is keeping us updated with our build progress. I'll update as we finally move into our new home.

Do not buy your home from Harron! The house we completed on is in such shockingly bad state I can hardly believe someone would build anything like it. It looks like its been built by a child. We have crooked walls, radiator on the wrong wall, missing extractors, several scratched windows, even cracked patio doors. Massive gaps under internal doors, we have bahtroom doors not possible to close as the lock is lower than the opening on the frame etc etc etc! We have been living in the house for almost 4 months and our snag list (with over 200 items) is being ignored by the site management who are beyond useless. We tried to raise our issues with customer care but they ignore us too. There seem to be no one even slightly interested in helping us, there is no apology, no response, nothing. I absolutely hate the house that was supposed to be our forever home. Its so sad. Do not make the same mistake. Avoid at all cost!

Amazing at the start but as soon as they have your money they aren't interested!

I have lived in my home for 3 years now. Most peoples experience are positive until moving in and then they make out snagging will be completed within weeks/months and here I am with a list 3 years on.I am pregnant and my spare room to be nursery has a serious temperature issue and now that baby is coming along this is more of a serious snag that needs fixing. When my bedroom was 21 degrees in the winter after heating had been on, baby's room was 14. I have had a couple of responses and empty promises and now it is just silence and the last thing I need when I am pregnant.The houses are never finished off to a high standard and never finished because the snagging is never complete until years down the line, when your house has been lived in.As new build companies go, the house sizes and value for money are pretty good but their customer service and after care is so poor I could never purchase another.Who knows if we will ever get sorted but please be aware my experience is not rare.

Lived in our home 4 years, the roads are still not finished, the shared gardens and common areas are not finished or taken care of. Gave up on snagging. You pay a lot for a home and it’s not the dream you were promised!Apparently can’t find me, using my name, worrying to say I purchased a home from them. Also quick to reply to trust pilot as it’s in the public domain, you message customer service and your ignored for months.
