Would never buy with them again! You sign a contract that means nothing! I’m having issues with my neighbours over a breach of 3 things in their contract which is effecting us and harron homes are not even bothered! What is the point in the contract then? The people at head office are useless don’t help at all. Even though you sign a contract that’s legally binding. Why should someone else get to breach this and we have to put up with it? It’s really unfair. If you get any issues after you have brought and moved in then nothing is done.And they always comment back saying they can’t see you as a customer and try and get your review taken down also FYI

Another onsite accident ignore the reviews from so called buyers the whole site of resident's here at Kingscroft are fed up . Damage to my car they won't cover, dangerous disgusting site constantly blocked in by work vans, trucks, diggers with no regard to residents and another accident onsite due to blocking pavements . Before you try and remove this I am plot 62 Kingscroft Killinghall and you have been reported again to health and safety

The Hawthornes @ Carlton, North Yorkshire. Our experience so far. Having not moved home in 37 years it was a huge decision to buy a new house. Both Caroline & Janette the new Home / Sales Advisors have been supportive & professional and clearly explained all the processes.We are part exchanging our house and well on the way to exchange of contracts & completion. So far it has been made so easy & the part exchange scheme was a good and stress free decision for us.We are now looking forward to moving into our new home and our experience so far has been really good. Shipley Lakeside are absolutely wonderful! We have recently completed with Shipley Lakeside and since the very beginning it has been an effortless process. Charlotte and Amanda are so knowledgeable and really actively listen to all your requirements. They are so friendly and no question is too big or too small. Buying a house with Harron Homes has been an amazing experience and our forever home is so beautiful. Ki, Richard and Dale are always on hand to help in anyway possible. All of them are amazing and really take time to listen to any concerns you have. You could not ask for a better site team! Again, no issue is too big or too small they will always be on hand to help in any way possible. If anyone is looking for a new home, I 100% recommend Shipley Lakeside. From the very first viewing of a show home to final completion day, it has been a really great process. Thank you again for a perfect house buying experience! :)

TrustpilotIgnorant customer services and lack of communication with site team
We have been in our home for seven months with a multitude of severe snags outstanding. We have several ongoing major issues and we are repeatedly fobbed off by customer services and the site team. Customer services claim they are contacting site to book in fixes, site team are claiming they know nothing about the issues. We have asked repeatedly for calls back and nothing materialises. We have asked for a meeting with someone higher up but nothing! I am utterly disgusted at how everything is being dealt with (or ignored to be honest) and will be pursuing legal action if these disputes are not resolved asap.Update *** You say you cannot verify that I own one of your homes. I am Plot 67 at Far Grange Meadows. I have given you my name and my contact information as requested. If you cannot find me, then there is something wrong with your admin team too!

Well what a disgrace Harron Homes have proved themselves to be after being i since November 1st 2022 we still have snags outstanding customer service give it all about being there to help and the only snags they show interest in resolving are those involving subbed out jobs in other words if it means them doing anything you will wait and wait you repeat yourself constantly about the problems but in the end they say we have no record of this and the reason for that is they don't even bother to do the 1 week snagging list with you.the staff constantly change hardly surprising they must be a nightmare to work for .anyone considering buying a Harron Home be warned do not believe their promises about customer service they wouldn't know what that means.if you are in the process of purchasing do not complete until you have examined your property thoroughly as once they have your money they won't careOh one more thing Harron please don't respond to this with one of your standard templates meaningless repliesPlot123 far grange meadows

Just completed on our Far Grange Meadows home, and the experience has been wild! Due to the ever changing economic and our impending mortgage expiry it was looking like we would be without a mortgage. Thanks to Jon for battling for us, and to the Harron Homes team they pulled it out of the bag and managed to complete our home in double quick time and in time for our mortgage deadline. Jon has been so helpful, and his customer service skills are second to none. I would be in a complete tizz about something and he was able to solve it and calm me down. He’s a brilliant asset to Harron Homes.Update - I should have waited to write a review. See newest review for the true after sale picture. It’s been nothing short of a nightmare.

We've been in our new home at Brierley Heath for 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. We've had some minor snags that have been dealt with as soon as they've been brought to Dave and Alex's attention. The sales team were absolutely fabulous throughout. We initially reserved with Julie Ann who explained the process in great detail and was so lovely. Julia then took over and was also amazing. We leaned on her quite a bit as we'd sold our old house privately so she did lots of chasing for us and helped things run smoothly. She also included our 2 grown up kids and made them feel a part of it all. A huge thankyou from us all and for coming in on your day off and handing over the keys on completion. Fabulous lady.The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is the issue with our back door. The glass was reported to have 2 cracks in it several weeks before we moved in and on the day of the move was sticking but is now completely unuseable. Our dishwasher is also broken and we're awaiting engineers visit. It's a shame as I don't believe either of these issues are down to Harron but it unfortunately is something we're having to live with. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend Harron homes.
