GoogleWe thought we were viewing a ground floor apartment overlooking the beach. Unfortunately when we met the agent outside the property it turned out to be a garden flat at the rear of the building. The details didn't make that clear so we didn't go in.

Thank you for your posting regarding your recent visit to one or our properties. The property is described as follows: "A very well presented lower ground floor apartment on Exmouth sea front and level walk into the town centre". The apartment occupies all of the ground floor of the building as a whole. It has its own front gate providing access to its own front door which is at the front of the building. In addition, there are French doors on the rear of the building opening to the garden. The property is located on the seafront and within the details, there is no mention at any point of the property having "sea views".

GoogleBooked an appointment to have a viewing on a property, we got there 10 minutes before waited til 5 minutes til the appointment before ringing the office. They didn't know anything about my viewing, even though I had confirmation of the viewing via email. They thought I was someone else. They said oh sorry that's our fault. Well I would think so too as I've got emails saying we had a viewing at 4pm it's clearly not my fault. So drove 16 miles there and 16 miles back home for nothing. Was told they was sending someone out straight away they will be there by 4:15pm waited til 4:20pm and still no one came, apart from another couple who clearly had a viewing as well. Not very good really. Will I get compensated for the fuel that I have wasted I very much doubt it.
