GoogleWe have been liaising with Hall and Scott over a property, we were told of some improvements that were going to be made on the property, once we received the picture we would make an offer. Afters weeks of chasing and them knowing we wanted to make an offer they accept from someone else without even a call or anything. Highly disappointed in them!!!

GoogleI lived in Ottery St Mary for three-and-a-half years with hall and Scott as my estate agents. The property they provide me with was very well priced and a lovely property in itself. Any problems I had were attended to very quickly and all done with the smile. I' could not ask for more from an estate agent absolutely fantastic and they made my time exceptional in Ottery. They also had a great attitude towards the fact that I have a guide dog and all they requested was that I cleaned the carpet after leaving which is far more than fair thank you very much guys!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleHaving 'given it a go' with another agent without success, we appointed Hall & Scott to sell my mother's house in West Hill. They were in action immediately, interest followed and this in turn by a good offer. The buyer was perhaps not the easiest to deal with but they kept it on track, despite all the difficulties thrown up by the pandemic, and saw the sale through to completion in a timely manner. We were principally looked after by Nick and Sarah, both of whom did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend them to anybody thinking of selling in and around Ottery..PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleLettings dept are rude and and unhelpful. Rang to ask a question about a property to let, Lady I spoke to was very off hand and abrupt. Asked if I could register my details, was told 'we dont do that, go on right move'. No wonder their reputation is so bad locally.

GoogleIt's not my habit always to leave reviews, but in this instance we felt it was essential. We've recently exchanged contracts on a house marketed through Hall & Scotts (Ottery St May office). Without exception, their service has been faultless - thoroughly professional, always friendly, and reassuringly efficient. Sarah really excels; going the extra mile in pursuing the various enquiries and keeping everyone in check - in what has been a very challenging chain. On the rare occasion that she was out of office the file was passed to her office manager Dean, who called to introduce himself and was soon up to speed and making calls, when it really mattered. Congratulations and thanks, to Hall & Scott for their all round excellence!

GoogleWe thought we were viewing a ground floor apartment overlooking the beach. Unfortunately when we met the agent outside the property it turned out to be a garden flat at the rear of the building. The details didn't make that clear so we didn't go in.

Thank you for your posting regarding your recent visit to one or our properties. The property is described as follows: "A very well presented lower ground floor apartment on Exmouth sea front and level walk into the town centre". The apartment occupies all of the ground floor of the building as a whole. It has its own front gate providing access to its own front door which is at the front of the building. In addition, there are French doors on the rear of the building opening to the garden. The property is located on the seafront and within the details, there is no mention at any point of the property having "sea views".

GoogleVery grateful to Nick Hall for overseeing the sale of my mother's house. Dean was largely instrumental in the sale and along with Sarah and Rachel in the office I was kept informed at all times about any viewings, offers etc. I can only speak as I find,but I found this a thoroughly professional estate agency and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future, I wish them all the best for the future , Kind regards David.
