GoogleI went with two estate agents to market the property as I thought this would provide competition and the best possible outcome. The other agent although very good did not provide as many viewing as Goodfellows or as many offers. They were able to match me with the perfect tenants for the property and despite me rejecting some offers they kept on speaking to their clients until we were able to find to the right tenants for the property. Special mention and thanks to Beckie (Letting Manager) and Fella (Senior Administrator) who were 100% professional throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Goodfellows in Cheam if you are looking to rent out a property

GoogleWe put our house on the market in March 2024 and initially went with KFH, largely because we’d had previous dealings with them. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well this time. Over 16 weeks, we had just eight viewings. The property had been overvalued from the start, and we were encouraged to reduce the asking price almost immediately. The whole process felt flat, and the lack of traction made it clear something wasn’t working. Then one day Martin from Goodfellows knocked on the door. That visit turned everything around. From the start, Kerry and the team at Goodfellows were a breath of fresh air. They spoke to us honestly about the property’s value, gave us solid examples of similar homes they’d sold nearby, and their communication was clear and proactive. It didn’t feel like we were being sold to, just given good advice by people who knew what they were doing. We warmed to Kerry straight away. Once we agreed to switch agents they moved quickly. They set up an open day immediately, and more people came through the door on that one day than in the entire 16 weeks with KFH. After that, we had regular viewings and, crucially, proper follow-up every time. We’d get a call the next working day with detailed feedback that wasn’t just vague comments. This helped us make small changes to improve our chances of selling. When a sale fell through, Kerry and her team were incredible. They handled it with real care and empathy, and we genuinely felt supported through what was a tough time. They didn’t waste any time and soon secured a new buyer. Even after the sale was agreed, Kerry and Debbie stayed fully involved. They worked relentlessly to keep the chain moving, despite it turning out to be long and complicated. We had calls on their days off, regular updates, and a constant sense that they were pushing things forward behind the scenes. This phrase is used a lot but they went above and beyond. Kerry became more than just our estate agent. She felt like a friend. Someone who had our back and kept us sane. Debbie deserves a special mention too for her patience and determination. We’re absolutely certain that with all the chain issues, this positive outcome wouldn’t have happened without the incredible work of Kerry and her team. They’re a credit to their profession, and more than that, they’re simply great people who care about what they do and who they’re doing it for. Thank you so much for everything

In particular our thanks to the lovely estate agent, Lorraine who diligently remembered us and made time on a weekend to show us the property.
