TrustpilotHighly recommend Gleeson at Birkwood
My wife and I have now been living in our new Gleeson home for a month. We needed extra space for our children and really liked the new build designs at Birkwood in Mareham-Le-Fen. Angie Lawrence was our point of contact the whole way through the process and she was fantastic. She was very personable and took a genuine interest in helping us find the right home for us. We found the process very smooth and any bumps in the road (from our side) were well received and Angie was understanding and supportive.The site manager at Birkwood, Danny, was also excellent and took time to show us around and answer any questions or ease any concerns. Minor snagging have been quickly sorted out with the knowledge that any others would also be sorted out.We have bought a new build in the past in Kent but found Gleeson to be a step above in all aspects. TrustpilotCowboy of a company - do not buy!
After numerous emails back and forth with the regional Managing director regarding the condition of our roads amongst other things on the Rainsborough Park site, we are still no further forward! We have lived on this site for coming up to 4years with raised manholes, damaged high kerbs, non existent pavements, green areas being used a rat run due to lack of bollards or fences to prevent it happening! Numerous promises for the work to be done and not, then when asked why to be given excuse after excuse. I have asked for a meeting with us residents and still waiting for him to come back with a date 2 weeks later!

Been in the property for a year, with all the defects we had to sort its been a nightmare.Recently I've noticed there's a gap high level between the window and roof facia. Reported to gleeson as we are still in our 2 year warranty there response- As this defect wasn't discovered when I moved in they will not be carrying out any works as this isn't gleeson fault.* reviewedGleeson did react with a visit in July with a visit from the site manager who frankly not knowing my back ground in construction came across i didn't know what i was talking about 😂. Still no action has been taken.

TrustpilotYou can fall in love with a housr
We moved in 6 weeks ago to the Longford and it's amazing , I never thought I could fall in love with the house and yet every day I am a little more in love than yesterday .I feel like being on a permanent holiday and the fact that it was a blank canvas with only the kitchen and bathrooms done, was better than expected as we can now choose everything as we want it.We started with underfloor heating and the lvt flooring throughout the house with wooden staircase . The area we are in is like an oasis , so peaceful and quiet . Gleeson Sales advisor Louise has been our anchor throughout and will always be grateful to her. Liam, the site manager has always listened and got on with any snags( very minor) as soon as they appeared. I am so grateful for this house and for my family.

Still waiting for the roads to be completed on the Mirfield, West Yorkshire site!! Cones left scattered, roads full of pot holes etc, pavements in need of doing! Left the roads on the estate half done in January and haven't returned to finish them for 6 months now! Beyond a joke!

TrustpilotDon’t buy a Gleeson house
The whole experience has been a nightmare. The sales team and the builders didn’t k ow the schedules they were working on. This led to us being given 3 different moving in dates.We move in - one window is broken - I’ll accept this as a teething trouble, it is then pointed out that the window is leaning. Head up into the attic, mould growing on the beams, site foreman comes round and tells me this is normal. £300 mould survey later they eventually get someone in to Rox it. Patio doors were leaking resulting in water getting under the floor and a big patch of mould growing beneath our dining table.This week we have a new kitchen fitted, we pull the oven out and it has a huge dent on the outside and wires hanging out.I regret ever coming on this site and my wife and I are miserable.Go to a different builder, they are cheap for a reason.

From when we first enquired at Spring Mill, reserving our home, to finally getting the last part of our sale done the team at Gleeson were amazing. Suzanne guided us through the whole process with so much knowledge and care, every bump in the road she dealt with so quickly! Nothing was ever too much for her - she was on hand constantly and I couldn’t of asked for anymore from her. She’s helped us with every question, concern, all communication and any paperwork! Nothing phased her, she’s a asset to Gleeson and I would go to her directly again ten times over. She’s the kindest lady and I don’t think we’d of been able to get to where we are without her help and dedication to her clients.

A family friend introduced Gleeson Homes to me and asked me to speak with Karen. I rang Karen on a Tuesday, not knowing it was her off day. Karen gave me a call back as soon as she resumes the office the next working day. We had a conversation, and she booked an appointment with me.I and my wife went to Vickers Grange development in Bircotes to take the first step of getting a new home. Karen was very helpful. She took us around, gave us the necessary information and support we required to getting our new home. She was very welcoming and kind to us.I would say we received good customer service from Karen. I will definitely recommend Karen & Gleeson Home to my friends and family.

Our sales exec John at Bracks Farm has been unbelievable. His customer service is next to none, he has answered every question (trust me there’s been a lot as first time buyers) with as much detail as humanly possible. John has come through on every promise, we’ve been in our home a month and he’s popped round multiple times to make sure everything is ok again answering any questions and resolving any issues we have had. Despite being very busy with this large site he always makes time for you. John has made buying our first house an extremely easy and pleasurable process and I couldn’t recommend this site more! We have just moved into a new Gleeson home on Crown gardens. We were guided through the whole experience from first showing interest on the development to completion and moving in by Amaara, she looked after our interests every step of the way. Everyone on the development seems so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for Mark the site manager, anything you need doing he will sort it. Well done Amaara and Gleeson we are very pleased with our new home.

We bought our first home with Gleeson, Amaara helped make the process as smooth as possible and she was so helpful with explaining the process to us. She helped us from the very beginning with getting us in contact with a mortgage advisor, we wouldn’t be in our first home now if it wasn’t for her. A real credit to the team. We moved in quickly, any snags we found prior to moving in were done for the day we moved in. Any snags with the house we’ve had since moving in, Mark and the team have been quick to arrange and sort. The team here have been great. Everything feels well looked after.
