We bought 2 homes with glesson acklam Garden. We had really good experience with both of them it was really easy and quick to go through with everything. Staff was brilliant, so we wanted to buy our 3rd home with them aswell,but this time we had really bad experience. The person we were dealing with was not interested in selling the house. We felt we were treated really bad and the person was really rude with us . We never left bad review for anyone but we really felt bad this time and things werent explained clearly from the start. Really disappointed with them.

I have recently started the process of buying my first house at Hays Park. I visited Sarah the lovely sales executive there, three times before paying the reservation fee and beginning the buying process. She had provided me with invaluable support and advice and is never in a rush or pushing a hard sale. She is friendly, highly knowledgeable and considerate of others. Overall it has been a great experience so far.

Great first impression and overall experience

My partner and I recently started looking for a new home and visited Crown Gardens, in Mansfield.We were greeted by Tina and Amaara and couldn't have asked for more.They took time to show us the locations of newly released plots that matched what we were looking for and also discussed potential release dates for others that were of interest to us.We even started discussing what finishes we wanted for flooring and our kitchen units! Both came across as extremely knowledgeable and friendly (without being too pushy), leaving us with a really positive experience of not only the site, but Gleesons too.Would definitely recommend dropping in on this site, if you're potentially looking for a new homes. They appear to be not overly prices too, which is a bonus!

DO NOT BUY FROM GLEESON

Starting to wish I’d never bought off of these cowboys. Got a list as long as my arm on defects for my house which aren’t getting sorted. I was told when I moved in I would have a 3ft fence to segregate the gardens so I opted to not upgrade to a 6ft one. Little did I know I’d be moving in to 3 posts on each side with a thin bit of wire on top of it as my “fence”. A few weeks back I had water come through my kitchen ceiling because the plumber hadn’t connected the overflow to the bath. I’ve had intermittent hot water with the heat pump we have and we’ve contacted Gleeson about this problem around 5 times. They just send the same guy round who reads a manual and doesn’t know what he’s doing. He isn’t a qualified heat pump engineer therefore the problem isn’t getting resolved. I’ve now had countless phone calls ignored even though there is a major problem (more house on our street having same issue). Had no hot water now for 2 days so unable to shower! My patience with them is now gone and I will now be contacting the new housing ombudsman to take this further as it’s disgusting how shoddy Gleeson workmanship is and their aftercare. If this gets responded to can I also have Gleeson head office contact details.

First of all see they have flagged the review as they know it's true there is nothing wrong with this review and is 100% factual so I'm not sure why they have flagged this and il be shocked if trust pilot remove it as I thought they wanted honest reviews Please just read the reviews under the places sold it's horrific and We got 2 k compensation for the stress they caused us . It has been a wonderful 8 months journey with Gleeson. Our first visit as a family to view properties was in January when we met Jackie. Jackie Acklam Gardens is fantastic and lovely. She did everything to make my dream home come through. When the buyer for my old house cancelled the purchase, Jackie gave me all the support required to make a successful purchase of my new home and we moved in on Saturday. Jackie is wonderful ❤️.
