I couldn’t recommend Rachel Greig enough!

I couldn’t recommend Rachel Greig enough!! She made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process, which made everything feel so much less stressful as I can be quite an anxious person. She was always so quick to reply to any questions I had, which was a really refreshing experience and definitely not what you expect from the typical “solicitor stereotype” I had heard all about. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend Rachel and Gilson Gray to anyone.

After some poor communication initially I was put in touch with Xulin and she was excellent from start to finish. She was very reassuring throughout, always had time for my phone calls and really helped me navigate the stressful process as a first time buyer.

Terrible experience. Bought my first property with them and there was no point in the process i felt comfortable with such a major transaction. Everything was rushed and last minute and felt like I was an afterthought. Constantly had to chase up information, promised responses and nothing came, onboarding app wasn’t updated as staff ‘hadn’t had training’, I’m still awaiting a response to an email after weeks. Only way to get a response is to CC in every member of staff along the chain you’ve spoken to. Won’t be using them again.

My solicitor Rachel Greig did a great job at getting my house sale and purchase completed on time - delays on the other side meant it was close to the wire but Rachel kept me informed throughout the day meaning I got my keys and into the property on tie.

Alan Craig was fantastic!

After having an initially poor experience with Gilson Gray up until our house sale fell through, Alan Craig redeemed them with his fantastic service when we went back under offer. Alan kept us up to date every step of the way and we felt he looked after our needs the entire time. He was very professional and approachable with what turned out to be a tricky sale. Keep removing my reviews and il keep coming back!

Just had my review from my horrendous experience in November 2025 removed again for the second time! Apparently because I named employees, however, read through the positive reviews that name employees and low and behold they are allowed! Any excuse to remove a poor review from a very badly operated firm. Lincoln branch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
