I have never rented a property before and the team at gatekeeper are amazing! Really helpful and nothing is ever an issue! I have had a couple of queries which was dealt with straight away! The fact you are kept upto date with all the progress of the move is a real gem as you know where you are with stuff.

As a former landlord I can highly recommend Gatekeeper, for many reasons. Importantly rental is their primary focus, not an add on to sales. Their quotes of rental com whilst not as high as other companies were actually better value when you take into account the whole package over a long-term rent. As a landlord I paid for full management, which unlike other providers is cheaper than part management, this is their quality control on repairs. The assumption being consistency in jobs as they use the same quality providers. I had a few jobs needed (front door wouldn't lock, toilet constantly flushing, oven stopped working) and each time they used the same system. If it's below a set amount you have a presigned waiver to go ahead without need for consultation (£100). Above that the team give you costed options, send out an engineer, replace the appliance there and then, combination if the two, and then 3 costed option for alternate appliances if appropriate. The level and speed if communication worked for, and I'm a stickler for good comms! I'm happy to report bpnone of the repairs needed to be revisited. If I were to be a landlord again I would definitely talk to Gatekeeper first, and have for all the reasons above been recommending them to potential renters also. Good luck.

We have dealt with the team at Gatekeeper for the last 2 years and in that period they have been nothing less than excellent. Whatever you're looking for, be it as a landlord, or a tenant, or a potential buyer I really cannot recommend them enough. Please give them a try.

Easily the worst out there. Outrageous 'admin' fees, and they even charge a 'check out' fee on top of any subtractions from your deposit just for leaving them. The deposit deductions they make are often ludicrous too (they tried charging me £50 for some dust on a lampshade). Avoid at all costs.

BEWARE ALL TENANTS These people charge the highest "administration" fees I have ever seen in my life as a renter so far, £300+ to open a tenancy, £100 at every renewal and £150 to leave, those are some damn expensive envelopes. And for all that cash they are USELESS when you need help, they knew nothing about the property, not how the heating works or the alarm, or which electric meter is mine. And yes they will tear into your deposit for Limescale and Dust. Yes tenancy is slavery these days, but these Crooks took it to a new level, Scum.

Gatekeeper have been fantastic for me and my family. Very easy to book a viewing online and they helped us select a few properties to view when we recieved a call back. At the viewing we felt like we had plenty of time and had all our questions answered for us. The application lroccess was extremely quick compared to other properties in the past. We had finished our application and secured the property and our credit checks in the same day. The property care team have been fantastic too. Always available and workmen have come out if we have had a problem. I sill definately be looking with Gatekeeper when we choose to move again. Thanks to all of you!

I am currently looking for a property to rent in Swindon and have dealt with many agents, I can honestly and safely say the customer service I received from Gatekeeper was second to none, informative throughout, friendly, nothing was too much trouble and very professional, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Never have a seen a more unprofessional company. Took us months to get our deposit back. Never forwarded any of our maintenance requests to the landlord. Even failed to uphold parts of the tenancy agreement (such as making sure smoke alarms worked). Worst of all: they try to get you to discuss everything over the phone so there is no record of it. If you must use them: ALWAYS GET EVIDENCE IN EMAIL. If need evidence of how awful they are, just check the blatantly fabricated reviews on their website.
