Let me tell you about Ed Dempsey & Associates. About ten years ago, I needed a reliable, trustworthy property manager to look after two investment properties I inherited that were subject to messy legal and financial problems after the death of my partner a year or two earlier. Of all the property management companies I approached, Ed was by far the most impressive. He understood the mess, and was straightforward about what he could and could not do to help me, all of which turned out to be true in practice. Once Ed and his team took over, they took care of everything: rents, repairs, difficult tenants, background checks, RTB registrations, etc. Ed would also ring me from time to time, just to see how I was doing. He and his team are pro-active problem solvers. They alerted me when any issues arose, made recommendations, listened to my concerns, and always left final decisions to me. Then each month, they sent out a full account of everything: rents, invoices, and AOB for my records. The vibe of any business comes from the top. Through the years, I always found Ed and his team to be friendly, caring, and personable in their dealings with me. You can pay for a professional service from many places, but the human touch on top of that is something you can’t buy.

I recently sold my apartment using Ed and his team. We got more than we wanted in the price and the whole process was simple and we were kept very well informed. I would strongly recommend Ed for your house purchase or indeed rental. Many thanks

This agency seems to be loved by owners but as a tenant I had the most awful experience. I was made to sign a lease on 25th August, only to be told a month later that the landlord was selling the property, without ever receiving an official written notice. Instead of following proper procedures, the agency harassed us with constant phone calls, pressuring us to find a new place and to allow viewings, even offering money to do so. When we refused viewings (which was our legal right), we were aggressively accused of being inflexible and indirectly threatened with retaliation from the landlord. Still without any formal notice, I was told that if my flatmate left, I would not be allowed to replace them, and that I either had to pay the full rent alone or leave the property. Despite moving out at the agency’s convenience, the deposit was only returned after three weeks, and only after repeated calls and threats of legal action. Overall, a highly stressful experience marked by intimidation, poor communication, and complete disregard for tenants’ rights.

I used Ed Dempsey & Associates for an apartment sale recently. From the start I was impressed with Ed’s professionalism and efficiency. His communication was always great, I never had any problems contacting him and, similarly, he always kept me abreast of developments. The company has all the latest technology so I had clear visibility online of viewings booked and offers made etc. I would absolutely recommend Ed and his company.

I’ve been working with Ed Dempsey & Associates since January this year, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. From the very beginning, they’ve been professional, proactive, and incredibly efficient in helping me find reliable tenants for my property. They took care of everything, from marketing the property and conducting viewings to thoroughly vetting potential tenants. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, and they found great tenants after just one viewing. Working with Ed Dempsey & Associates has given me real peace of mind, and I would highly recommend them to any landlord looking for trustworthy and competent property management.

Ed and his team helped us sell our property in Dublin recently. I can honestly say that he went above and beyond to help us through the process. Ed was very engaged and was really helpful providing great advice and support at every stage of the process - I really don’t think we could have been guided through the sale by anyone better. Ed’s knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness is head and shoulders above other estate agents - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and his team to someone thinking of selling their home.
