GoogleRebecca was fantastic during this process, that was far from straight forward. She replied to emails, and answered our calls which felt that she was working hard for us and was open and transparent throughout the process.

GoogleUsed Duckworths to sell a property, I found communication’s dreadful, called them on several occasions, no answer, sometimes I got a call back sometimes not. We never even got a call of congratulations on completion, only an email eventually, inviting me to rate them on google! Potential buyers on occasion would say this or that was wrong and needed fixing, Duckworths were briefed on what work had been done though this didn’t appear to be communicated to buyers! We did sell the house but I think the house was valued straight off Zoopla and needed a realistic reduction to sell it. I wouldn’t use Duckworths again, I feel they were understaffed and poorly trained.

GoogleI cannot recommend Duckworth’s highly enough. After two months with another agency and no interest, I moved my property to Duckworth’s, and the difference was instant. Harry, Leanne, and the entire team were exceptional from the very first conversation. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping me achieve the best outcome. Incredibly, they secured a great sale before the listing had even gone live. Their communication was personal and consistent, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The entire process was quick, well-priced, and easily the smoothest house sale I’ve ever experienced. Their attention to detail and level of care were outstanding. Duckworth’s made what could have been a stressful process incredibly easy and painless. I’m full of gratitude for everything they did.

GoogleAs well as offering a full professional service, I found the staff at Duckworths Estate Agents in Darwen to be very friendly, polite, down to earth, and easy to communicate with. They treat clients with respect and dignity and listen to your housing needs and affordability. They worked swiftly and excelled themselves just to secure the property I was most interested in and as a result of their speedy work, I got a mortgage on the house I really wanted at heart. I am really impressed by their positive work ethics and genuine efforts to help & assist clients and it's thanks to Duckworths I am now very happily living in that house I always wanted. So if you are thinking of investing or buying within the area, I would absolutely recommend coming to visit Duckworths Estate Agents...call in and have a chat, you wouldn't be disappointed and overall fees are very reasonable. Buying my own home has been a game changer for me and I am one very happy and satisfied customer.

GoogleSold my property in Lower Darwen with Duckworths. Despite the time it has taken for the solicitors to do there bit, it is thanks to Rebecca that we finally got there is the end. A really credit to Duckworths. Thanks for getting it over the line. As the phrase goes, and in true strictly fashion...its never to early for a 10 from Shirley!!

GoogleI found Duckworth to be extremely rude and unprofessional, particularly in my dealings with Rebecca Baron and Lyla Baldwin. There was hardly any real communication, no initiative, and at no point did we feel like we were being taken seriously as genuine buyers. We constantly had to chase for updates, and even then the responses often felt dismissive and uninterested. A good estate agent should be proactive, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping both buyer and seller move forward. Sadly, that just wasn’t the case here. It felt like Duckworth were doing the bare minimum, and nothing more. I wouldn’t recommend them. If you want an agency that values you, respects your time and actually works to move things along, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
