GooglePoor estate agents with only one thing on thier minds, your money. Before handing the keys back to the agency i asked a member to come around and have a final check to see if the property was up to standard and if anything needed doing, the estate agent told me that everything was fine apart from a few little bits that i sorted on the same day. After handing the keys back and requiring the release of our deposit they said that they need to get the property professionally cleaned, replace all the counters in the kitchen and replace curtains in one the bedrooms. Yet the property was spotless, cleaner then it was when we moved in. And when we moved in the curtains were already dirty with foot prints and grime, so we changed them straight away and put them back up when we left. And if you need maintenance done then good luck! The cords on one of the sash windows snapped causing the window to no longer open and being such terrible wood the window had warped causing it to sit on the sill rather then fully close, thank god that happened in the summer and not winter otherwise id be left freezing for weeks.

GoogleAfter almost 5 years renting through them I find the staff in store very friendly and welcoming everytime we go in to pay the rent or update our tenancy contract. If there are any issues with our property the maintenance team always returns to us very quickly getting things done very fast.

Very very professional and really empathetic with your every needs. From the moment we viewed and moved into our current property, the service has been impeccable! We are currently in the process of moving into a new property and they have gone above and beyond to make sure our move goes smoothly. Cannot recommend enough. Amazing for communication and service. GoogleA disappointing house purchase experience with Davies and Davies. Since October - completion in April we heard from D&D twice. We didn’t even hear from them on completion day. Luckily, Paxton’s, who sold our property were incredible and gave us (and our buyers) weekly updates on the both the sale and purchase. I have no doubt that had we of put our house on the market with Davies and Davies our buyer’s would have gotten fed up with the lack of communication and would have pulled out months ago. The people in the office are nice but I don’t believe they have the time to provide a full service. On the two house viewings we did with D&D we didn’t receive brochures for either property and for one viewing the vendor wasn’t even expecting us. Very embarrassing for all parties.

GoogleI cannot fault the service I have had. Punctual, reliable, proactive - D&D did their best to sell my property as quickly as possible. Steve Smith offered realistic and timely advice based on years of experience. I was kept informed throughout the selling process. Having dealt with several estate agents recently, D&D have proved themselves by far the best. I can recommend their services without reservation.Thank you D&D!

GoogleThe team at Davies & Davies Trowbridge have been amazing, especially my main contact Lucia Pattie. They helped me manage a difficult sale of a rental property in Trowbridge, further complicated by the fact that I live over 200 miles away in Leeds. They took care of everything finding a buyer, liaising with and chasing solicitors, dealing with management agents, tenants, the buyer and even the council and kept me updated all throughout the process. They utterly earned their fee on this one and I am extremely grateful to them for all their help.

GoogleI have had my first dealings with Davies & Davies whilst buying my first house and it was seamless from the outset. Especially compared to other estate agents, staff were particularly warm and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Louise in particular has been absolutely brilliant and really proactive in keeping me in the loop about the status of my purchase throughout, alleviating what can be a stressful process for some, and making it a real pleasure to deal with. When I ever require the services of an estate agents again, Davies & Davies is sure to be at the top of my list. Thank you so much!

GoogleI am a Developer in Trowbridge and instructed Davies and Davies to assist with the sales of seven apartments in the Town Centre. Davies and Davies (Mark) stormed into the development became very aggressive and continued to hurl foul language and abuse at his Client! Absolutely disgusting. I have never been so disgusted with what is supposed to be a service led sales area. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THESE WITH A BARGE POLE! HORRIFIC!

GoogleNot friendly staff ,not helpful on phone.promises of phoning back,never happened. They have a problem with people who are on disability benefit. Or any benefit. I have rented for over 25 years ,and never had this sort of service?
