The WORST customer care imaginable

After sales / customer service is nothing short of USELESS!! Having lived in my Davidsons home for 3 years I feel I’m well placed to comment on just how utterly shocking the customer service is from Davidsons once you move in. I never experienced such a disorganised company, with extremely poor communication with its sub-contractors and suppliers. EVERY single issue I have had with this house has always been hindered by Davidsons not being able to communicate with the suppliers/workers and me the customer - in fact, it’s so bad that our development wrote an open letter of complaint - let that sink in.

Do not buy a house off this Developer

This has got to be the worst house building company I have ever come across. I have lived in a number of new builds over the years and have never experienced such arrogance. Their staff couldnt do enough for us when we were trying buy one of their homes but as soon as it was brought they were not interested in any problems we had. It has taken us over a year to try and get faults rectified and to this date we are still in dispute with them over a number of issues with our property. Their attitude to their customers is disgusting.

This is our second new build so we weren’t surprised by the snags and little issues with our house. The staff on site though have been really good and any repairs needed have been done quickly and professionally, Dom in particular (who is one of the site managers I think) is excellent, nothing is too much trouble even stopping him as he walks past to report a problem.

Davidson's Arkhall farm truly defines home. When you enter the estate there is a sense of community and warmhearted friendliness. This begins with the wonderful sales team that has helped to make this dream come true for us. Paula, Amber and Sharon have made this journey one to remember. Our initial home shopping experience was one that seemed daunting and unforgiving. We were ment to feel as though we were on a conveyor belt. However when we met the team at Davidson's Arkhal farm we knew we were in safe hands. Paula's actual words to us during our experience was and I quote "You want a place to call home, and to work with people who make you feel a part of a family sometimes companies forget that you are people, unique individuals" I can happily say that she has kept every word of that and they have redefined the word home for us. I am known by name not a plot number and the conversations we've had has been one of genuine carebas if interacting with an old friend. Even long after the sale I still get check-ins and I still pop down to the sales office just to say hello. Mortgages and the whole house buying process is a waiting game and you won't find a more patient, caring understanding team than those at Davidson's! Thank you for what you've done for our family.

Can't Fault Davidsons. Just reserved my home at Arkhall Farm Tamworth was absolutely brilliant. Went through every aspect of home. Recommended Mortgage advisors and solicitors. As my home isn't complete Sharon put me in touch with another site so I could view a show home version of my home. Part ex to take away all the stresses too. Sharon couldn't have done enough and keeps in touch every step of the way. 1st class service. Can't wait to move in.

Great Houses

Buying a Davidsons Home at Alexandra Place was a great experience. Louise was just what I want from a sales person - honest, straight talking, and willing to help where she could. Having moved in to the property we have been a little frustrated with the aftercare, as the responses from one of the contractors in particular about fixing patio doors has been poor, but still happy to give 5 stars.

Do not buy a house from Davidsons!!!

I bought my house at Diamond Heights Irthlingborough and the gardens were done without land drains so the gardens flooded, driveways put in and then had to be redone and the response was 'your car is too heavy' and the park has STILL not been finished and we moved in nearly 3 years ago!! Do not buy a house from Davidsons!!!

AVOID!!!!!!!!!! Worst Developers around!!

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! Brought a house in October 2020…. On the day we moved in there was a massive leak which had to be repaired ( bodge job repair was carried out ) 1 year later after a few issues with the boiler here and there, we contacted Davidson for them to a look at the boiler as the pressure keep going every other day! Cowboys Norris plumbers ( who work for Davidson) turned up and said there probably will be a leak somewhere but we can’t do anything until the leak is visible…. More issues continued but with no leak until another year later ( December 2022) the leak finally appeared. We contacted Davidsons and they said our warranty had ran out and they had no record of us reporting the issue to them! We’ve had to pay hundreds in getting the issue fixed! They had used plastic cheap pipes and fittings! And cemented round pipes! Disgusting company! DO NOT EVER BUY A NEW BUILD FROM THEM!!!

Certainly the best new-build property I have purchased (and I have had five of them). Attention to design and detail is first class and the after sales service has been first class. Every employee from sales to site workers to after-sales workers seem to have a sense of pride that they are working for this company and go above and beyond to protect and maintain the high reputation that Davidsons has deservedly earned.

After purchasing from other builders previously I was blown away by the service before and after completing on our home. Davidson’s plots seem much larger with bigger garden sizes and a lot more features included, the finish and standards are very high and the site and sales teams go above expectations, they have been amazing. It has never felt like a house but a home and we are so happy we bought with Davidsons, highly recommend and would buy again! Thank you Charlie, Claire, Becky and Eve!!
