GoogleGreat bunch of helpful people here. I live overseas and had a nightmare scenario with my previous agents - eHomes (in Swaffham) - who were stealing money from me for over a year (receiving rent from my tenant and not passing it on; refusing to return deposits to tenants etc)...The guys at David Andrew stepped in and went above and beyond to normalize the situation in a highly supportive and calm manner. Special shout outs to Asher and Theo.

GoogleSold my flat via their Archway office. Former neighbour had recommended Jason in particular, so was concerned when I learnt that he had left. However, I had a pleasant experience with Jeremy as well as Fraser; both were professional and attentive to the sale, and I received regular updates and thoughts on the process. I would recommend without hesitation.

Ute, thank you very much for your recent review. We are so pleased that you are happy with the service Fraser and I provided to you. As a reliable and customer focused independent agent, this is a major attribute for us that corporate estate agents often can’t match. All the best for the future.

GoogleHad an appointment to view a flat with Alfie but he didn't show up. We arrived on time and waited about 15 minutes after which we called to see if he's still coming. Not only was he rude to my friend on the phone, but he lied about being there 'five minutes earlier' waiting for us, which was obviously a lie as we had been waiting for more than 15 minutes for him at that point.
Awful impression, will not be using or recommending this agency in the future.

FacebookEverything started over two years ago when me, my partner and our friend where looking for a decent 2 bed flat in London when found one we all liked and setted a date for a viewing; the flat is perfect For us except one thing: on the add says clearly “TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS”, but once we see the flat, the second room has only a SINGLE bed with an extramattess underneith. Right, the landlady says these exact words “oh no there will be a DOUBLE bed ready for you when you move in!” At this time there was me, my friend, the landlady and the letting agent Santa.August 2016 comes and we all move and with surprise we find in the second bedroom the same single. We called the agency right away and this was their response “we never said anything like that, you are lying.” Not to mention there was NO dining table and we had to buy it with our own money. And that’s when we should have run as far as possible from this bunch of cheap suits wearing so called letting agents. During our two year contract, every single time we had a problem it took MONTHS for someone to come and just see the problem and leave us with a “we will speak to the agency and come back to fix!” Yeah, that never happened.Give you a couple of examples: The toilet is separated:The one with the shower has no filter and no window, so obviously when taking a hot shower this will create mould, correct ? That is exactly what happened and all we had from the agency was : Open the windows of the bedrooms! Well of course, -10 outside in winter I’m going to keep my window open 24/7. We had mice in the apartment for MONTHS, they knew and NEVER sent anyone to help us, instead let us deal with it at our own expenses. The shower was leaking trough the ceiling down to the living room, all they did was send some random guy to put some silicon in the shower. Worthless to say, that was helpfull for 5 minutes.June 2018 we decide to leave due to personal reasons. So this is where it gets even worse: In mid July I send over ALL our final bills, attaching also the screen shots of our payments. On August 5th we leave the house and pay £425 for a deep cleaning with a company THEY reccomended. One week later we receive the final check out inventory: THE HOUSE IS NOT CLEANED PROPERLY, it says.
Well, I asked for a good company that you would reccomend on purpose, because I knew that this would happen;in this check out inventory there are like 6-7 items missing, which, if whoever went to do the check out would have checked the cupboards would have found, rather than having a 26 email exchange with us and having to send someone else to find those items (which btw were cheap argos wall frames)In addition to this, we get accused of a wooden shelf missing in one of the rooms; THE SHELF WAS IN THE PICTURE THEY TOOK DURING FINAL CHECK OUT and they still tried to charge us for it And a phantom lamp missing that none of us has ever seen, £60?! A LAMP?! On top of it all, they charged us £120 for the check out fees which is apparently a ‘reasonable amount of money’ for someone to go take pictures and not even done properly. in all of this there is a radio silence of another week when at some point we decide to call them to find out the agent that takes care of us has had an accident and no one in 1 WEEK had the idea of picking up their job. At this point another week passes and finally someone else takes our case and Everything seems to finally be done when again, another week of radio silence due to the landlady who apparently is too busy to check her emails and answer. Finally the landlady emerges from her own ashes and guess what? She sents our depost back whit an extra £65 charge this time for a blind and a door step that have never been mentioned before (no mention of this phantom lamp anymore all pf a sudden). So obviously the landlady really needed those £65 as it is clear that the £1625 she was earning from us on top of her salary CLEARLY was not enough to get by! Overall after a battle of over 40 emails, took us over a month to get our deposit back. Not to mention the change of 5-6 different managers during our 2 year contract.
I suggest you avoid this agency as they work as hard as possible to scum you, from start to finish working with the landlord to find a way to charge you for anything at the end of your tenancy and for prooving to be useless during the term of your tenancy. Oh also, you have to pay for a reference. London innit ?

GoogleWarning!!!! 52 A, AXMINSTER RD -- DO NOT RENT THIS FLAT!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! If I could give zero stars I would. David Brett (MD) is rude, condescending and inherently inept in running a business and hiring employees that actually know what they are doing. It seems that no one is organised in the entire firm except for the new person in property management (Chelsea). Nothing but problems since the day we moved into our flat. All windows painted & locked shut when we moved in and it took them 2 weeks to have someone open them during a massive heatwave last year. We have had black mould and damp for the past 9 months, 4 massive leaks in the kitchen from the poor installation of the kitchen extension. They book someone to come out to fix a problem and the scheduled David Andrew employee just doesn't turn up and have to chase them down with multiple emails/phone calls to have anything done. Warning!!!! 52 A, AXMINSTER RD is riddled with damp, leaks, black mould and the if you like sleeping past 6am, good luck as the upstairs neighbours are really loud and don't care about the tenants below them.

GoogleThe best and smoothest experience I've ever had when looking for a new property in London. Truly a 5-star service by the whole team straight from the initial phone call with an initial brief to what we were after all the way through to occupation.
The initial viewing was with Giuseppe who was professional, approachable, contactable & informative throughout the whole process and made the whole process feel comfortable for us.
Would recommend this team in a heartbeat.

GoogleAs a new landlord, we chose David Andrew and haven't looked back. From the initial flat photography to getting our first tenants in, they've been 100% professional and making sure every question was answered and every box ticked. We dealt with Giuseppe and he's great at making sure we're being looked after all the way. Would definitely recommend DA to landlords to use as their agent.

GoogleI have worked with David Andrew Estates for over 20 years most usually with the Archway office who handle rentals for my portfolio of private landlords, and I have been consistently extremely satisfied with their service. They take instructions efficiently and get on with the job of letting my properties. They keep me updated at every stage of the process and have always given me good advice regarding rentals achievable according to market conditions. They have always found me good reliable tenants and dealt with every aspect of the process - referencing, tenancy agreements, deposit registration, inventory and check outs professionally. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to landlords and tenants alike.

GoogleI arranged to view property a with Giuseppe who was very friendly, professional and informative. Not only could he answer all questions about the property, he offered background information about the landlord and additional guidance on the cost of bills, the property market, the area and parking. He kindly allowed me to push the viewing back due to delays caused by snow and even took the initiative to show me another great property in the area before taking me back to the station. Giuseppe is definitely the nicest and most competent agent I have met during my property search.

GoogleWe at St Aidan’s Primary School feel we have found the perfect match as a sponsor in David Andrew Estate Agents: local, friendly and community-minded.
David, Gina, Mark and the team have made a huge contribution to sponsoring our PSA events; have produced fabulous house boards advertising our Summer and Christmas fairs (we hold a drawing competition for the children twice a year to find the best illustration for the boards, which they love!). And after working with us for 5 years now, are now almost part of the fabric of the school!
The money they have donated has gone towards various projects that directly benefit the children: new raspberry pi computers for coding; astro-turf laid on the ball-court and a new lighting board for the school stage - amongst many other things.

GoogleI rented my Flat out through David Andrew. We used them because of their excellent service and competitive pricing. We have listed our Flat before Xmas and it was a bit of a slow starter. During that period Asher supported me by doing a rental comparison/analysis to ensure market rent and how to make it more marketable. Once they find a suitable tenant, Asher was very professional on dealing with all the paperwork and sorting any queries ASAP, communicate/action all the steps/progress before the tenant get the keys.
Overall, my experience with David Andrew was very positive and I like how responsive they were and were always on hand to help with my (many!!) queries. Thanks Asher. I will be using David Andrew again. I have already recommended David Andrew to a friends who has also instructed them to look after his Flat.
