I was assisted by Henry Okereafor of Daniel Cobb in Kennington when looking for a flat to rent in the Kennington area earlier this year. I found Henry to be calm and friendly and he understood the local property market well. He did not adopt hard-sell tactics. I was also helped by Patsy Yau, and Alice Fyfe of the Daniel Cobb Bermondsey office. In the end, I found a flat in Stockwell through a different firm of estate agents as the properties there were better suited to my budget. But if looking for a flat to rent in Kennington/Oval, I would recommend registering with Daniel Cobb.

Really happy with the service we received from Chris and the team at Kennington when letting our property, following a recent bad experience with another "local" agent. One of Cobbs' strengths is their local focus and knowledge. Chris' advice was excellent and his good humour seemed unfailing which is quite a feat in this business! He, Henry and Marion were all so helpful and I'd definitely recommend them. Fees are pretty reasonable too!

My first and only positively enjoyable interaction we an estate agent. I used Daniel Cobb to find my now current flat which both myself and flatmate love! Very simple process of application and very good communication from day of enquiry to even after the tenancy was signed for! Both Marion and Patsy gave great service as well as there lovely co workers at the London Bridge branch. Having rented flats around London and also letting a property of my own over the years, I have dealt with many agents - and to be honest was not looking forward to doing so again during what is the busiest month of the year. However, Henry at Daniel Cobb was easily the best agent we dealt with. Whilst the other agents in the area struggled to respond to emails, return calls, or keep us up to date with new properties, Henry was extremely, efficient, professional and courteous. He listened to our needs and genuinely tried to find us somewhere that fit without being pushy. We didn’t manage to find a flat in the area (mainly due to our tight time constraint), but we’ll likely be back again during a less busy period and give Henry more time to find us the right place.

We have just bought a house through Ian Boardman at Daniel Cobb. We cannot recommend him enough. Ian was absolutely central to the success of the transaction as the context of the house was complicated, with consents needed, etc which caused the process to drag out. Ian’s candid and honest advice helped build trust on all sides, yet he is also tactful such that he communicates effectively and keeps everyone on-board. He was pro-active with all parties throughout without ever being pushy, and was incredibly effective as intermediary, giving us a lot of faith in the process and obviously achieving the same with the vendors. We found that Ian’s insights about the local market were very valuable and well-informed, in good part because Daniel Cobb has such a large share of the local market. Ian is also very pleasant and easy to work with, and was always willing to spend time: I dare not recall how many times we asked him to open the house for us, surveyors, architects, etc. He was always available to do so, and was helpful and friendly every time.
