We had 2 house viewings with CPS and both went really well, they even recommended houses we should view aswell as the ones we had picked out ourselves from looking at the website. Throughout the viewings the CPS member was telling us they could add a mirror here or change the sofa if we wanted. They were always giving the option of improving the house to fit our needs. On the 2nd house viewing we found a house and took it on the same day. Quick and easy process!

On the day, they showed us to a variety of houses and the one we eventually ended up getting was a suggestion from them! cps were a very easy company to deal with, very friendly although clearly very busy and sometimes could not give us their full attention due to chaotic offices - though this was expected during such a busy month for student lets viewings and signings. Tom our agent was really helpful and managed to find us an amazing property that fitted all our needs including me who was super fussy. I would definitely recommend.

Great selection of properties in great condition. The office atmosphere was friendly and the guy who showed us the properties was knowledgable and made us feel confident we were choosing the right house. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing and there were lots of students viewing and renting houses in the short space of time we spent in the office. The process was explained repeatedly and very clearly to us, although now we have received an email that contradicts what we were told about when we could pay the deposit but hopefully this is just a mistake and we can still pay in January 2015, not within 2 weeks of our agency fees being paid. Agency fees were quite expensive and the property we wanted only had a bills included option (which was pretty extortionate at £50 each for 6 of us).

CPS Homes - Shocking!

From our experience... reasons not to use CPS Homes:1: No people skills 2: Absolutely no after sales care at all 3: Rude, unhelpful and no communication skills 4: Say that have written to you when they have not 5: When I phoned and got so frustrated I hung up on them, a week later I phoned them back and they hung up on me in retaliation. Nice professionalism... and by your managers none the less... 6: Rent out horrible properties. (They take pictures of a few nice ones but like to have a dabble in the odd sh hole...) 7: Read their reviews before using... I have kindly attached them at the bottom of the post for your reference 8: I have attached a picture of our window... We were told it is not damp it is condensation... their advice open a window and put the heating on... Nice work guys ;) - p.s if you notice condensation on the windows we were unable to dry it as it is in the middle of the double glazing... but yeah... "condensation" 9: The landlord that this company is acting on behalf is a liar. Not so much the fault of CPS Homes but have done nothing to help with the matter. 10: I don't like them - (not really sure how else to articulate my last point but it feels relevant)

We had other viewings organised, however CPS was our first and only one we needed. Shortly before our appointment they remembered a third property they could show us and it was perfect, and ended up being the property we took. We were dealt with by two employees (one blonde woman and Rhys) and both were very friendly and personable. They made sure we knew what was happening, how we went forward etc. We needed to move in a few days before the tenancy agreement and this was all sorted very smoothly.
