Hi Matt, we are saddened to learn that you are dissatisfied with the service you have received from us here at Leaders and our team at Woking. We set very high standards for ourselves across our business and take it very seriously when these are not met. We believe that when any issues arise that through the use of effective communication we are able to swiftly address these and alleviate any concerns. We are saddened to hear that you feel you have experienced a lack of communication from the team and would like to offer our apologies for any shortfalls in communication that you feel you have experienced during your time with us as a Landlord. Customer Service training is undertaken with our staff and is something we are continually striving to improve on, When viewing our system it can be evidenced that the last property visit that was conducted was in August of last year and shortly afterwards a copy of the report was sent to you highlighting the issues at the property which the tenant had raised, it doesn’t seem as if any further issues have been raised since. I can confirm the next property visit is due to be conducted at the end of this month and once we have a copy of this report it will be forwarded onto you at the earliest opportunity. On receipt of the report if there any works which you would like to have undertaken then please contact the property management team who will be more than happy to arrange any works for you. Hi Aglae, We are saddened to read of the negative experience you have had with the Leaders team in Woking. Here at Leaders we are members of the National Federation of Property Professionals Client Money Protection Scheme through our membership of ARLA Propertymark, Safe Agent and also The Property Ombudsman. We are very sorry to read that you feel the fee’s for Tenants are expensive and exploitive however we are a clear and transparent agent that do not add fees later on down the line of any tenancy. In regards to your points raised in relation to the deposit Leaders hold the deposit as Stakeholder for the duration of the Tenancy as instructed to by the Landlord, due to our position as Stakeholder this means the deposit cannot be released without the written consent of both Tenant and Landlord. From locating your Tenancy on our system I can see there were proposed deductions that were put forward to the deposit for end of tenancy cleaning and several items noted within the check-out report. I feel it important to advise you that Leaders put forward these deductions on behalf of the Landlord as we are instructed by them to do so although it can be evidenced these were agreed to and so the deposit was released. If you did not wish to agree to the deposit deductions then you would have been able to raise a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) using the details on your Tenancy Deposit Protection Certificate, if a dispute was raised with the TDS they would then have impartially adjudicated over the release of the deposit. When taking into account my points raised above I can empathise with you as I recognise what a stressful process negotiating a deposit can be especially if initially you do not agree with the deductions put forward. From my review I do not believe the team at Leaders have acted incorrectly however I would like to offer my sincere apologies that you felt the service you received fell below the high standards expected of Leaders.
