GoogleIn a market that doesn’t seem to favour the sale of flats/apartments, we switched to Colubrid as a last ditch attempt at selling before we packed up for winter. After seven months of waiting, they turned our situation around in a week. The team have been very helpful and we feel very lucky. We can’t help but feel that the decision to change agents was a great one.

GoogleWould never use these estate agents, very unprofessional especially the boss, never in the office when you need him then he tells sellers the wrong information ...then you lose out on the property that you want to buy.
Hi Kate, We are really dissapointed to read your review. We appreciate any feedback we receive. Obviously we love to hear positive feedback and its never nice to hear negative feedback. But any negative feedback we receive we take very seriosusly as our reputation is extremely important to us and most of our business comes from positive word of mouth and recommendations. Firstly we would like to apologise if you fee the service you received from us was below your expectations. However there is always two sides to a story. In your case, you made an offer through our company on a property. The seller was happy with your offer amount but had asked for any buyer to pay a reservation fee to show their commitment to the purchase, we take our sellers instructions. You specifically stated "Having reviewed the buyer reservation fee terms, I am not comfortable with the terms and therefore do not wish to make this payment". We relayed this to our seller to take their instructions and another interested party then placed an offer on the property and was happy to proceed with the sellers terms, the seller therefore instructed us to proceed with the alternative buyer instead of yourself. We empathise with how frustrating this must be and completly understand how upsetting it must be to lose a property you have placed an offer on. However we firmly believe we are not at fault for this. As the Estate Agent we are the middle people relaying between buyer and seller and we appreciate that in these situations we bear the brunt of people frustrations as its a clasic case of dont shoot the messenger. But when we receive a review like this we feel its really important for us to put our side forward so that there is a balance. In this case we were simply taking our sellers instructions on which buyer they decided to proceed with and unfortuantely it was the alternative buyer. As mentioned above we empathise with how upsetting and frustrating this must be. We wish you every luck with your property search and sincerely hope you are able to secure your dream home soon. GoogleThis estate agency was an absolute nightmare. Make sure you receive and read their full Terms & Conditions before signing, as I was only given mine after I decided to remove my property from the market. Their contract is extremely restrictive, even after I said I no longer wanted to sell, they insisted I keep the property listed for another 28 days. After numerous emails, the branch manager eventually agreed to release me. I also complained to HR, only to be told to deal with the same person I had issues with. They boast about selling every property they list, but in my opinion, their restrictive contracts play a big part in that. I would not recommend this agency. Read the T&Cs carefully before signing.
