We’ve been living at Loxley Heights for three months now as a family and have genuinely loved it here. The apartments are modern, stylish and well thought out, it feels like a place designed for comfortable, everyday living. The lobby is a real highlight: a cosy space where you can relax, have a tea or coffee, or even play board games. There’s also a lovely shared terrace with great views over the city, and the gym is spacious and well equipped. Reception is very helpful, especially for parcel collection, which makes daily life much easier. The maintenance team is quick and efficient, any issues can be reported through the app and are dealt with promptly. Overall, it’s a well-managed, welcoming place to live, and we’re very happy here.

I stayed at Courtfield Gardens studio for six months through this agency. The letting coordinator, Omar, was wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the wider team and management was not as positive. When I moved in, the studio was not properly cleaned, and I had to request changes to the check-in report. Throughout my stay, noise from the upstairs tenant was a major issue, footsteps and dropped items caused very loud banging noises that frequently woke me at night. This seems to be due to very poor flooring rather than the tenant’s fault. As a result, I rarely had a good night’s sleep during my stay. The windows are very old and let in a lot of wind and cold air. The shower would regularly switch from hot to cold without warning, and there was no hot water in the kitchenette tap. The main entrance padlock/sensory door system often didn’t work. When I requested a fob, I was told I would need to pay a £20 deposit. I declined, as the system should function properly without needing one. Eventually, they provided the fob anyway. There is no water meter at the property, so tenants are charged a standard flat rate, which is extremely expensive. They also refused to allow the installation of a water meter, despite this being legally permitted on longer contracts. There is also noticeable water leakage throughout the property, which may explain their reluctance. After I moved out, I was charged £50 for cleaning. I disputed this and provided evidence that the property had not been clean when I moved in. I was eventually refunded £33. Overall, aside from one helpful staff member, my experience with this letting agency was very disappointing, and I would not recommend them. They are sneaky.

Really nice block of flats - all the concierge team are lovely and the facilities (co working space and gym) are great & well maintained and the lounge is often stocked with new stacks. I also had a minor issue with my wardrobes and it was fixed really quickly by maintenance the day after I reported it :)

The room is nice, but not sure it worth the price. The receptionists are horrible and rude. Every time I collect my parcels, their attitude make me feel like I own them money. Especially the Asian girl siting on the right hand side. She just spreads this rude energy to everyone all the time. Your company should do an appropriate staff training with her. I’m not asking for a higher level of service but at least your team should give the residents some basic respect.

Loxley Heights is a fabulous building. The facilities are among the best in Sheffield, including a gym, entertainment room, and more. The location is also excellent, according to Uber drivers, it’s very easy to get a taxi from there. The reception service is outstanding, with 24-hour security, efficient parcel collection, and a responsive maintenance and management team.

Despite my repeated requests for a clear, itemized breakdown of charges and payments, they have consistently failed to provide any transparent documentation, yet continue to demand payment for unclear amounts. This lack of communication and transparency has caused significant stress and forced me to escalate the matter to the University of Sheffield. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that the management may be unresponsive and unwilling to clarify financial discrepancies.

I had a very pleasant stay at loxley heights studios and like every other accommodation provider there will be a mixed experience for all the tenants. Pros: 1. Friendly building facility and maintenance team addressing all your issues instantly. 2. Clean and safe premises. 3. Many social events being organised frequently giving all the tenants a change to socialise. 4. Concierge services, Always safe and reliable with my parcels. 5. Lots of amenities like Gym, Table Games, Movie Area, Karaoke, If you reside as a friend’s group, I’m sure you would have a lot of fun. 6. Very high-speed Internet. 7. Lots of study spaces for you to make use for studying, meeting with friends etc. 8. CCTV all around and building team making frequent physical checks on the common spaces during late nights. 9. Right in the centre of the city. Cons: 1. Studio is too big and has lots of openings to the outside (via chimney, space below doors, toilets etc) where during winter, the heat doesn’t stay inside despite what level of heating you have. 2. Have to be careful of the electricity spending since the bills can increase significantly as they are charged at commercial rates not domestic home rates.

I have loved my stay here! Haran has been welcoming right from the first time I visited to view the apartments and made my check in super smooth too. I believe that the staff are a huge part of making or breaking your experience of living somewhere no matter how nice but Haran has met my expectations. She even organises amazing social events including a recent sushi night which is a great chance to meet people with common interests that you otherwise wouldn't have come across.
