From the day we called to rent a property the service has been second to none, we rented a house managed by them and if we needed to call everything was dealt with speedily and always had calls with updates whilst waiting I cannot thank Ben especially for the support and advice he gave us when our own house sale fell through, he was genuinely supportive and engaged with the landlord to ensure we were able to stay longer as we had given notice I would recommend them 100% to anyone looking to rent

While we may have ended up putting an offer on a different property, my partner and I wanted to leave a review for Elaine because she was excellent throughout our experience. We are first time buyers and have viewed multiple properties with numerous estate agents throughout Cheshire, yet Elaine stood out to us as someone who is incredibly good at her job. She had clearly done her research ahead of our viewing and was able to answer all questions we had, and then some. I particularly liked how she got us to visualise how we would use and move around the space and helped us to determine what might be the right fit for us, both now and in the future. Even though we didn't end up purchasing through Cheshire Lamont on this occasion, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elaine to anyone looking for an excellent estate agent. You’ll be in safe hands and when we look to sell in the future, we’ll most definitely be in touch. Thank you again for all your help!

The team were superb in dealing with viewings and other matters and providing support in some of our decision making. The brochure produced was amazing. Recently sold a house with Cheshire Lamont, I found them to be excellent they kept me updated as often as they could and I found every time we had a viewing they gave me a run down of each potential buyers views I couldn’t ask more. Originally bill came out to view the house and priced it perfectly and explained what needed doing to give it the best chance of selling. As for his team in the office they all were excellent and made me feel less anxious as selling a house is quite a stressful time. I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all and for all the hard work you did regards Mr Bolide.

Recently sold our house with Cheshire Lamont and the experience wasn’t great. We had an initial meeting with Bill which was fine and the valuation etc seemed reasonable. After agreeing to go with them someone came round to do the photos. The photos were ok, however when Cheshire Lamont uploaded the listing on rightmove they used every single photo that was taken in most cases 5 or 6 photos of each room with numerous duplicates, making the list look unprofessional and chaotic at best. We then had to sit down with them and remove a huge number of duplicated photos and reorganise the listing ourselves. Unfortunately it went down hill from there, we never heard from Bill again after one more meeting despite the fact he was our original contact. It then turns out the people opposite us had put their house on the market for 50k more than ours with Lamont, which seemed reasonable as it is slightly bigger. After finding a suitable buyer for our place we were then very surprised to learn that the price of the house opposite had been dropped by 50k and all of a sudden our buyer went next door. The surprise became lessened when we found out Bill was good friends with said neighbour, this left us with the only option but to drop our price by 50k. When we eventually found a buyer we only had occasional contact with Elaine in the office who was very helpful and organised viewings. Once we had agreed a sale we heard almost nothing from them until the day of completion when Bill phoned my wife to thank her for the colossal amount of money we’d just paid them for doing what I can see as very little. Compare this to the excellent service we have received from the estate agents we are buying from and the difference is night and day, personally I would not recommend.

We have recently relocated from Hampshire and have settled on Nantwich. Bill and the team at Cheshire Lamont located in the town were representing the vendors and during the buying process, we worked closely them and found them to be very friendly and efficient. Our own solicitor was less than efficient, but thankfully the Cheshire Lamont team were very patient in what became at times a very stressful period. I cannot recommend at Cheshire Lamont enough; the whole team was friendly and eve n when things were being dragged out by our own conveyancing solicitors, they were very understanding and although keen to keep things moving, they were never pushy or made us feel uncomfortable. To summarise: very profficient, friendly, knowledgeable and community spirited - highly recommended.

Never have I come across such kindness, efficiency and professionalism. The staff at Cheshire Lamont are so knowledgeable and offer help and advice every step of the way. I have recently used Cheshire Lamont to rent out my property in Nantwich. They were absolutely excellent from Day 1, the best part being that they were extremely non-pushy, unlike the first agent that I approached, who phoned my every week asking if I was ready to let the property, despite me telling them it would be a couple of months before I was ready. This put me off, and I tried Cheshire Lamont. I wish I'd called them initially as they were great. Came out when they promised, valued the property, advertised it promptly, found tenants within 14 days, who moved in a few weeks later. Paperwork was straightforward, and I have opted for their fully-managed service, which was competitively priced. Thanks to Alex and everyone in the team.
