GoogleI have worked with Chartwell for many years. They have always been a great partner for rentals. With particular reference to helping me with a change in tenancy and identifying a new tenant I have found Ashton Darwell-Taylor to be particularly helpful - highly responsive and always replies to correspondence with no delays or hesitation, and proactive in bringing alerts to me or matters to my attention. An outstanding service and I would highly recommend both Chartwell and Ashton.

During the rental process, he was a wonderful bridge between us and the landlord, and we were able to complete the rental procedures quickly. Day-to-day matters are handled seamlessly without any need for involvement from me, and if anything significant arises, he communicates clearly and works with me to agree the best approach. That balance of independence and accountability is exactly what you want in a managing agent. They are also extremely efficient when it comes to lettings, consistently securing tenants quickly, and more importantly, good-quality, reliable tenants. Everything is well managed from a payment and compliance perspective, which gives real peace of mind. He went above and beyond to answer all our questions and to help us understand anything we were unsure of aswell as finding us a great deal for our mortgage. GoogleLooked at a property recently. Letting agent was late and didn't have keys for the building. We were accepted on a tenancy offer- and told AFTER that the landlord was selling and therefore we would have to include a break clause at 6 months. A huge waste of time.

Dear Susannah, Sorry you feel this way but I would like to elaborate on this as the review is not accurate. Our negotiator was not late, she was waiting outside the main entrance where she said she would be. We do not manage the property so we had no option other than to rely on the tenant for access, which you were aware of beforehand, we can't control the tenant being late unfortunately. You were informed about the six month break clause and the Landlords intention to sell before we put forward your offer to the Landlord and you were still happy for us to proceed with the offer. Upon your offer being accepted you decided to lower this offer, which the Landlord refused. At this point you appear to have made this inaccurate review. We are more than happy to provide you with the email chain between yourself and the negotiator proving the above. Have a lovely week.

GoogleLayla is such a professional girl, we are amazed at her fantastic customer service. I was a bit unwell and I took a colleague with me to view a flat. I had to change the meeting time and still, Layla was really really patient, she showed us around a flat in Putney, my colleague made a video of the place and she was helping in every detail.
